I also read the book and found it fascinating as it was so detailed. The Padre, I think, went above and beyond, as they say, with the recovery and burial of the dead. Your video puts faces to those fatalities and adds even more detail to the story. My thanks to you, and God bless they that served.
Thank you. Yes the padre did an unbelievable job, something I think I overlooked the first time I read the book, but going over it again for these videos Ive really come to admire what he did
Superb video, great use of the footage and excellent commentary. Very much looking forward to more. My only suggestion is that you could use more of your footage from your visit to say where you are and how that relates to Hills' historical progress. Thanks.
Another remarkably well done video, the editing, footage, music, narration, and format are fantastic. Looking forward to the following parts, I've read Brothers in Arms, its a favorite now, and will need to read other books written by the regiments members.
Having read this book as well as James Holland's "Brothers in Arms" which focuses on the Sherwood Rangers from 6th June '44 to 8th May '45 (D-Day to VE-Day) all I can say is very well produced. I'm facinated where you sourced the colour footage from?

Many thanks. And that's the plan with the next part, I wanted to use more in this one but it didn't really work

Granddad's brother A Squadron 5 troop sergeant Leslie Jackson, MM at Doullens
So much respect for him and his comrades
If you'd invited me to come (I have a K1600GT), you would have had an actual Sherwood Ranger along with you. :) (y)
