    I wonder why AI can't manage to pronounce the words millimetre and centimetre?
    Got bored with the jerky robot tone after 20 minutes (or minuets as the narration would no doubt have said) but B+ for effort.

      What, you've never heard of Seven Five Mum artillery? Unfortunately abbreviations require knowing the context of their use, and sometimes a good guess. Simple for a human brain, not so much for AI.
      I think it would have a nervous breakdown it it had to translate US Navy department abbreviations. Long words created by using the first 2-3 letters of seemingly entire paragraphs.

      @@MarkSmith-js2pu if you listen again, you will find at points in the narrative the machine is entirely unable to pronounce some English words, that is an issue quite separate from the general choice of accent that the machine has been set to employ.
      Looking at the reply from the people who run this site it seems from the sentence structure that English may not be the 'first language' of those people.
