Looks good! I couldn't get my translation working this time for some reason but I think I know what you are talking about. It looks like there are a few high spost that you8 were indicating with the exposed metal that were revealed when you block sanded the filler. I understand how difficult it is to get the flat panels flat, especially when the panel flexes when you sand on it with a block. It is much easier to make the curved areas look good than it is to make the flat areas flat. I do appreciate the care that you are taking. Fortunately, the van will be a light color so that is much more forgiving. I was really tempted to change the color to a really light blue instead of the original gray but I guess I should probably stick with the original color :-). Thanks again for the update! It's looking really nice!
Thank you, yes, the work is going on, it's difficult, but I can handle it. I am not a professional in this work, so it takes more time. And the color is really boring, if it was my car I would paint it in my favorite color. Something bright and juicy.
@@nnovgarage3116 Hmmm. Well, you've got me really considering the color. I like the stock color but I'm not in love with it. How long before I have to decide what color, for sure? I want to be sure there won't be any trouble with customs, coming or going. I'm guessing that a repaint indicated on a receipt would probably be enough for verification but I'll check into it to be sure.
@@nnovgarage3116 Well, you're certainly doing professional work. I used to do it and don't miss block sanding and wet sanding :-) . I'm 99.9% sure that I'm going to want to change the color. I've picked one out but I'm getting a second opinion from my lady.....

@@nnovgarage3116 Yeah, it's been a while since I painted. On my old Porsche, I spent about 6 months block sanding and wet sanding to get it perfect. It turned out well. When I took it home to install the seats that I had reupholstered myself, my neighbor bumped his big, heavy car door into it and created a small dent. Nobody else could see it without looking for it, but I could. :-)
