Como colombiana, felicito al equipo por dejar todo en la cancha. Sin embargo, este partido demuestra que hay mucho por trabajar. El bloqueo fue prácticamente inexistente y el ataque muy irregular. Podemos destacar a Dayana. El centro de la cancha fue muy flojo; todo lo que caía allí era punto seguro para el otro equipo. En general, faltó seguridad. Ojalá podamos seguir viendo mejoras en este deporte en el país. Sería un sueño verlas jugar en el exterior y destacar. ¡Mucha suerte!

Dayana está sola. Saca, clava, recibe, bloquea, así es muy difícil. Ella no puede hacer todo. Le queda pequeño ese equipo.

Les falto mas malicia,conexion y comunicacion con el juego ,Colombia lo pudo haber hecho mejor ,mas velocidad y fuerza en el ataque para definir con exito la jugada,fallos en la defensa y el bloqueo,Dahiana lo hizo muy bien ,saludos🏐🇨🇴
I believe its time for Colombia to shop for a new coach who can bring out their player's potential. Colombia has some good prospects. But again this coach since 2017 hasn't been able to elevate Colombia's game much.
To me, more than the coach, the problem is the support the players get. Here in colombia, sports are not profitable at all, so we dont have many contenders to be good players. The overall level lowers because of that.

@@l.baileyjean3719 this! Women can excel in many sports. Some more exciting than ithers for sure. Right now the WNBA is breaking records in viewership, which i think is amazing. Womens Volleyball has always been a fav of mines to watch.
as a lady who has played and excelled at many sports. I agree with you. I played basketball professionally in Europe. I loved it and the support. I loved track and volleyball before basketball. The US has to become better at showing sports from all over. We are all over representing the states.

We're never going to have another outside hitter like Bartsch Hackley. Cook and Larson can barely put away the ball against a team like this. We don't stand a chance against the top European countries with this lineup. We're cooked in this Olympics.

Seriously Plummer should have filled that role but she’s so inconsistent.
We are going to miss Michelle B-H. She was excellent handling serves and was terrific hitting from the Pike. It remains to be seen if Plummer or Franti can provide all that Michelle brought to the 2020 Olympic team.

Under Karch’s leadership, he wants to reduce the service errors so float serves are utilized now. Stats shows for women they are more effective anyways since you’d need to have a lot of power in a jump topspin for it to be effective in women or men’s volleyball.

Colombia no se puede igualar a un país altamente capacitado respecto a rendimiento deportivo, en Colombia hay muchísimo más talento, incluso más que en estados unidos, pero en Colombia se roban toda la plata para apoyar a los deportistas, muchas de estas chicas tienen buena alimentación en este tipo de eventos, por qué en sus casas a veces faltan muchas cosas....
