To be honest, Frantic, you don't need an ATG (anti-tank gun) when you have the missiles and the main gun. Those should be enough for any ground armor you end up facing. What you should convert that towed gun to is a towed AA gun. Your anti-air capabilities is almost non-existent since you can't get your missiles aiming high enough and a single heavy cannon ain't going to cut a Typhoon bearing down on you. Either a rotary cannon or 4 light cannons would do you better than a redundant ATG.
Hey frantic your sprocket and this series inspired me to make my own tank but theres just so many issues, the tracks engine stalling and it can’t turn. I ended up just using wheels. Do you have any advice?
In Stormworks or in Sprocket? If it's in Stormworks, you need to have independent clutches to each side and, depending if you want neutral steering (where the tracks rotate opposite directions making it spin in place) or pivot steering (where the tank rotates around one track or the other instead of in place) you'll also need a separate gear box on each line to each side with them set to go in reverse (this is for neutral steering.) For pivot steering, you'll only need the clutches. As for the stalling engine, what kind of engine are you using; prebuilt or modular? If you're using a modular engine, is it getting a good AFR (Air to Fuel Ratio). A very general rule of thumb you can apply is that you want 1/2 of the fuel going in compared to the air, so set a function controller to divide by 2 and send your acceleration control through that and directly to your air intake and then the function will go to the fuel. The last thing about the engine stall is that tank treads are massively torque needy. Getting wheels to roll is fairly simple, getting tank treads to keep rolling, it seems like anything short of a 12 cylinder engine will not cut it. My suggestion would be use the 3X1 engine crank shafts as you're able to fit 8 cylinders on them. Having 4 of them gives you a 32 cylinder engine which is a lot more power than a 16 cylinder. So try some of that out. If it's in Sprocket, your tank may be too heavy for the engine you've got and the max RPM and target RPM might not be set correctly. There's also the issue with gear ratios and track length (how long you vehicle is) compared to how wide it is relatively. Really long skinny tanks hate turning. More even tanks have an easier time turning, but are harder to get a stable ride out of (as far as pitch goes as the thing is pretty evenly weighted and could flip on its tracks.) Lastly, I get I'm not Frantic, but I do know a bit about Stormworks tank building, as I was a bit obsessed with it before the weapon DLC came out, and I tried to make that my niche as my planes and boats were bad looking. I really haven't improved in my designs or my programming for controllers, but the mechanics of the tank treads is something I know a bit about.

Did the IFV is looking beautiful, very impressive. Good job!
I really was hoping you’d make a two section caterpillar tank with the rear module acting as a standalone AA platform
probably your best build yet
I dont think so :(
Nah, I think its up there as one of the top builds I've seen from you. Good job so dar frantic!
@@FranticMatty all of your builds are cool!
The towed weapons are typically transported from logistics trucks (Not a bad project idea) and not IFV's.
looks cool, u should add some handles to it, so that you can move or rotate it without a vehicle
I love ur vids
Thanks bud! :D
will u upload this 2 the workshop?
Very cool build when I built stuff it's just a tank with heavy gun I wish I can build as well as you do
today i made one of these too but bigger and with ballistic calculator!
Some sort of cargo vehicle by great for that anti tank weapon on that ifv
I didn't know that you could slam fire a AT GUN! 15:03
could you try fighting Endoskull, using this amazing creation?

@@steeljawX thanks so much! I’ll try this later
You should add a machine gun in the top of the ifv as anti personnel
Elite Build!
Fanx :D
@@FranticMatty please give it a name. What about the FR-27 Cougar?
I love this game and your videos (by the way why does it look so much like a BMP-2M?)
Thanks and I dont think it does look much like a BMP-2M, its more like a warrior ifv shape :)
@@FranticMatty the heavy autocannon, the atgm's, the amphibious-ity to me it's def a Soviet IFV
It looks more like M3A3 Bradley
Idea build anti aircraft version
Please upload because you don’t upload things like this normally even when done
I’m late, according to bottem text I was 22 seconds late
First though :)
Smol
And plz do an anti AA gun
And I came by 23 minutes
You have the same pfp as my old wallpaper
