Also the SOHC engine's rev band can be finely tuned for a specific RPM if not electronically limited by a rev limiter . So you know RS is known for its top end . So Bajaj just tuned it for top end and inserted a smaller sprocket so the engine revs freely without any stress . And Hence the price of RS is justified as well . If Bajaj made DOHC engines they'd be hell expensive and people will think too much before even buying them .
