This is Nier automata prologue and before the events of the game happen. It also show the tragic of what happen to A2 team destroy by the Red Girl aka N2.

If you're talking about the characters in-universe: the blindfolds are tactical goggles, if you're talking about the actors: they are made out of a material with a lot of tiny holes inside, which you only notice when you're very close

It based from the NieR: Automata novella - Long Story Short first then the stage, I really recommended reading it cause it's about A2's past 👍

On the anime Lily took over Anemone's role from the game, but Lily's past is still the same. The only one who's survive on the Mount Ka'ala mission were only A2 and Anemone, but I guess for the story wise they changed Anemone to Lily for the anime instead.

I couldn't read it far enough in the beginning and at .75x speed actually is perfect and doesn't sound the usual slowed or sped up weird distortions. Is this just a weirid coincidence that its a perfect speaking pace slow, or am i just "slow"🐌🐌😅
