We're very lucky to share a lot of the same hobbies. We actually both got into mountain biking at the same time! Cacapon is next level. Hope you enjoy your visit! 🤙
It's the best thing in life to share your passion with your partner. I've been lucky enough to have a wife that shares my same passion for riding. We have ridden thousands of miles together. If you want your wife to ride, start easy. Just go to a lake or nature trails and get her riding. Make sure she has her own bike that is capable and she is comfortable. Slowly you can introduce her to more challenging trails. THe most important thing is to just have fun.
@@JubeProductions right on. I just got my 7 year old son his first mountain bike. I will be including him in my future content. Take care and ride safe buddy. HMU if you are ever riding out in the York Pennsylvania area.
Visited here in 2022. They were still working on thunderstruck. Hadn't even started some of these other lines. I climbed the fire road and went down giddy up. Various others from there. Best time of my life. We were staying nearby for a couple days.
These trails look great! You two make some great content and I love that you give a good preview of the trails, including the infrastructure surrounding it. My wife and I have been riding together for almost 20 years on the East Coast and ride some of the same trails. You should check out White Clay/Middle Run in Delaware, Fairhill in MD, Wissahickon in PA, 6 Mile in NJ or Lake Noxamickon Bucks County PA. We just got EMTBs last summer and have been mostly riding trail with the E-bikes and we travel almost every weekend to ride somewhere exciting. I wish I had your energy and motivation to make videos. Keep up the good works and thanks for making these.
@@JubeProductions thank you for the thoughtful comment! Our hope is to get more people exploring all the great trails in our area. We have been to Nox and made a video about it but the other places you mentioned are definitely on our list! Thank you for the suggestions! E-bikes are a great way to cover a lot of ground and see what’s out there! Thanks again for your comment and thanks for watching!
@@NickandKatieMTB I live right outside Philly and know a lot of trails in PA/NJ/DE if you ever want some tips on riding spots, let me know. Wissahickon in Philadelphia is one spot you have to check out. It's been around for years and is one of the first places I ever traveled to ride way back in about 1988. They have done a ton of work and added some newer trails, but a lot of original trails are still there. The cycling community in Philly is really great too. White Clay/Middle Run are two parks in Delaware that have about 30 miles of trails that are connected. These are flow trails with some elevation, but not a lot of climbing. That is a spot we ride regularly and a place I know well. They do regular trail maintenance there and the trails are very well built. My wife and I have been doing evening rides there so we finish and it's dark out. Very cool to start off and it's light outside and ride as the sun sets, and finish with our lights on.
@@NickandKatieMTB I just got back from Massanutten VA and Fountainhead Regional Park in VA. Fountainhead was AMAZING and I can't wait to get back. It was very surprising and I didn't think the trails would be as good as they were. A lot of work went into those trails and it was almost like a bike park level of flow. It's about 3 hours south of Philly.
I'm glad I came across this video I live in North Central WV and have been looking for places to ride I'm only about 10 minutes from Watter Smith Memorial State Park and I ride there mostly but there isn't very many features other than the trick track.

High on my list for this year but to ride the really good stuff here you pretty much have to shuttle, from what I'm told.
Yeah it’s a four mile gravel road climb to the top of the overlook!
