I like the video a lot, but this kinda stuff doesn't on me because I start getting complacent if I'm the one being complemented. Does that happen to others as well or is that just a me problem 😅

Well, I would say that it works for majority of people as it's all about psychology. It's just like how kids tend to continue doing a particular thing, task, or whatever it is when they are constantly complimented on how good they are on it etc. If someone told you that you have a talent in piano, there's a high chance that you would want to continue pursuing it.
But just like everything else in life, not everything works 100% to everyone, which is why we have to employ different techniques which I've learned from the book "How To Win Friends And Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. If you're interested to find out more on those techniques, I've actually did a 5 minute summary on the book on my channel, so do check it out! I'm sure you'll find it helpful in your life!
I tend to notice that Asians speak an octave, or 3 above a robo voice like they are robots trying to act human. Still great video though.
