As a guy who hopped from smash to UNI, let me tell you all these training options are a breath of fresh air. Im learning how to play thanks to the tutorial and for now not once did I need to check the internet for informations. I feel like a starving man discovering there was a buffet next door all this time
if it’s teaching you about basic to advanced mechanics, then yes. However, do keep in mind the game doesn’t give much character specific information (as in how to use their tools and sometimes their optimal routes)
This is the first thing I discovered when I scrolled through the menu. And the first thing I did was customize Orie as Peach. I wasnt even able to do a special at that moment😂
it’s a bit smaller compared to other games, but the reality about fighting games is you only need two people to play a match. you don’t need larger numbers like team games do, and you can still fight a variety of players/characters. also, the 24hr peak is around 1500 players, it’s lower rn because it’s midday on a wednesday
After playing on stream last night, it seems like it's a lot better now! The ping display is still wrong, but if you avoid anyone with 999ms, it seems like it won't crash
from my experience (and what others have said) it crashes the first time you change to full screen, then it’s fine. if you’re having this problem, first change the resolution, then change to full screen. don’t change both at the same time
@@Lidomega im not 100% sure if theyre related (prolly not) but i get a crash on bootup abt direct3D failures when im on fullscreen, i used to get them all the time but once i changed to windowed i just havent had the issue and im just very okay keeping it at that
I've been using Borderless Gaming, let's the game be fullscreen without crashing, while _also_ allowing me to alt tab without risking the game shitting itself. Did the same with MBAACC and Type Lumina.
@@Zarrius05 It is when it removes depth for the sake of player-laziness/entitlement. Instant-gratification seeking is bad. It's very strange people want to be "competitive", but at the same time want their hand held or given handouts.

the in game tutorials are very detailed!!! if you don’t mind reading, everything you need is in the game :)

As a smash bros player I can relate and you're not the first i noticed most smash players are most likely to love uni it's strange x)
I spent way too much time customizing all of the default colors for all of the characters...

It sure is.
i wanna get into this game, but after seeing the steam chart with a playbase of only 600 people, kinda makes me want to look the other way.

No is not, this game is actually good and not dumbed down to an Alzheimers pacient level
Modern Fighting Game (complimentary)
Fighting games being more simple and easier to get in to is not a bad thing
