Just got a full bottle of cashmere for christmas. Odd journey with this one. First smelt it in store in 2016 and was repulsed. Respected it but couldnt imagine anyone wearing it. I found myself comparing all other oud scents to it. They pulled it from stores so I couldn't test it again. Fast forward 2019 and I ordered the samples from MFK for 14 quid. Mainly to try it again. Sprayed it on and loved it. The opening wears off quickly and I was left with a sort of regal vanilla and dark berry scent with a subtle smokey accord. I ordered 5 2mls off of ebay. Wore all them. The dry down on clothes is gorgeous. Oddly, every time I wore it I got comments on it. Not compliments, just people asking what I was wearing. Anyway, got a bottle a few days ago for xmas. Can not stop sniffing it.
@@TheScentientMan just got an email back from them and they said production has been stopped since awhile on them temporarily but they do not know when it's coming back. Probably COVID caused halt in supply lines of ingredients

Nice review! My personal fav and only one I own is Silk Mood Extrait. Do you smell any similarities between Oud Extrait and Mancera Aoud Vanille?
I actually haven't tried Aoud Vanille. But based on the name it sounds like it would be similar to Oud Satin Mood.
I'm scared cashmere and velvet are discontinued or something. Not on the website since awhile, not even samples. Hard to come by in general too
Hmm...maybe they are not producing it during the pandemic and once it’s over it will be restocked. Keep an eye on their website.

I got oud wardrobe set that comes 6 x 11 Ml for 175 Euros so getting 66 ml for that price isn't too bad

I think BR540 would be too much in the humid summers. Too sweet! Try APOM pour Homme or Lumiere Noire. The original Oud probably would work too.
