Oh my gosh, I outloud said to myself, "ohhhh my gosh does IGP have a plushie?!" I found you due to my enjoyment of reading Lovecraft stories, and then found the call of cthulu playthrough and now watch all episodes at least once a month 😁
Really wish you, icey and your other friend would do a full series trying to survive in one of these worlds, either scp, zombies, the floating domes or the ummm I guess fantasy worlds you played and you two fought big knights but play at least 10-20 episodes or goo till you all get tired of it.

Mobs having the ability to strategically break blocks is a lot more nightmarish than I expected
It would be realistic though.
It’s about as horrifying as I expected. The entire point of Minecraft WAS that you could build what you wanted and (almost) nothing could destroy them except yourself.
I've played a zombie mod where they break AND place blocks and it was awful (mod good, but scary) 😂

Only indie could turn peaceful Minecraft into Chernobyl. That being said, I’d love to hear Icey to give a speech From Chernobyl just to see how it hits different.

I like to think “watching UA-camrs” is considered as technically Continuously watching a person do something by their own will which is technically Stalking someone with their permission.
I wasn't here since the beginning, started watching him around shoppe keep (about 6 years ago) and watching him play it is what made me want to buy the game. It looked fun. Kinda regret that though considering the game got abandoned. I will admit I kinda stopped watching a little bit after I saw him adding clickbait to his thumbnails/titles. Wasn't what I subscribed for. So glad he's not doing that anymore.

If you plan on making a full series of the Parasites mod:
1. You should probably check the update/change log for better information on a lot of parasites
2. Sometimes, when you kill a mob that's infected, there is a chance that another parasite called "The Host" will appear. The Host's will burrow underground and spring up from the surface and attack.
3. Those things that sprout from the ground are called "Beckons". The beckons will infect blocks around them and replace them with " infected blocks" further spreading the parasite infection. These beckons also have the ability to summon other parasites. The stronger the beckon, the stronger the parasite.
4. Be careful on how much bullets you use to kill parasites. Parasites can adapt to your bullets and will become immune to them. (But if you kill them quickly you won't have an issue)
5. Most parasites can't destroy stone bricks. So maybe try ad build a base out of them. Parasites also don't like standing in magma blocks, so that's a plus.
6. I recommend building a wall 3-4 blocks high around a base for extra protection against the parasites.
7. You can also build elevated platforms to get a better shot at some parasites.
8. You may have noticed numbers in the form of words appear in the bottom left corner of your screen (chat basically). Those indicate the stages of the parasites. "one" being when the parasites start to slowly spread with numbers. "Two" being where parasites will frequently spawn naturally and will have many numbers. "Three" being where more advanced parasites will spawn, such as "The Host". Good luck on surviving levels 4-8, they're a nightmare. (also this depends on how many in-game days you play at a time)
9. I recommend a 12 gauge shotgun that can hold more than 2-4 bullets.
10. Weapons are your best friends. DON'T LOOSE THEM.
This is pretty much of what I've learned from playing around with the parasite mod. Take the advice of an amateur, maybe? It may help in the future.
I'm also too lazy to go back and read any of that to edit it, so sorry if there's any mistakes.

I played the mod with two friends we already knew about the mod but never played so we gathered materials a absolute ton in the first 20 days it was just Material gathering we got everything we need to make a sky base made crops and basically everything we would need to expand without going back down

I think only halo Spartan armor could help you against the parasites. Also loved the "nightmares" as a peek behind the scenes thing. Very cool.

Do you have a modlist for this? I'm most interested in the radiation mod, but I really would like to know what other ones you have as well, other than S&R Parasites.

the radiation comes from nuclearcraft, no idea what the other mods are
techguns is the guns, scape and run parasites are the flying dudes and other mobs, epic siege is what gives the zombies the ability to break blocks and hold tnt.

They addapt to your ammunition after awhile, lava/fire is the best way to take the parasites out
That can be configured so it is also possible adaption was disabled in the modpack
I would discourage using rapid fire or shotguns cause those can cause immunity
