Hey, Hunter
Go to a local hydraulic shop and get some stainless steel braided hydraulic line with the teflon liner. It'll handle the heat far better. Then you can plumb that onto the steel line with a JIC fitting. (I'd still wrap the line with silicone and fiberglass though, but either the hydraulic shop or local go-fast places should have that)
Next, I would say a fun thing to try would be water injection into the pipe going into the turbo. You have so much heat it should flash to steam, both increasing the exhaust pressure and dropping the EGTs for the turbo. You're already packing oil in, might as well pack water in too. Bonus points if you can throttle the water amount with a needle valve so you can really dial the EGTs in. (Hydraulic shop should have these too)

Get an infrared/thermal camera! Not only would it be cool to see the temperatures of the hotspots, but that turbo must shoot a giant plume of heat upwards.
Edit: also, guys please install an emergency shutoff valve. Either put it on the turbine side before the turbo, or maybe on the compressor side before it runs into the tank. Just a simple dump valve will do, but make sure you can access it from a distance.
Maybe not, that turbocharger is creating a vacuum in that tall chamber and likely will never get enough oxygen to properly combust the fuel. Likely black smoke ( unburned hydrocarbons

As someone raised in the 50's, "safety" has never been my #1 priority. But this activity is far beyond my comfort zone.
You should put the oil vapor line to the fresh air intake side of the turbo so the vapors are pulled thru the turbo to feed into the fire of the burn barrel.

Add a second wood barrel as a gasifier... Weld steel rod/pipe wrapped in kaowool near the hot spot of the burn barrel to the second barrel to transfer heat and you have gas for big visible flames.

That would greatly increase volume and flow as well as cool the turbine. Possibly a battery powered one should do already.

If you have too much turbo you might have difficulties to get barrel burning enough to keep them running and generate high pressure. I'd put some sort of valve so it would be possible to close extra turbos untill the barrel is burning really well.
In for the bigger turbo. Y’all stay safe when you run those. 🤠
You should add another turbo and plum it into your engine so you'll have full boost at all times. Just get a wastegate rigged to your throttle so it dumps the boost when off throttle

A soda machine carbonate pump will work well for the oil pressure to the turbo. They are also tig welder water coolant pumps. Ita just a brass vaine pump.

I am highly impressed the turbo went for so long without a form of regulation like a waste gate. I wonder if the sheer volume of the burn barrel helped with that? other burn barrels have had the issue of overboosting and have had to limit the air coming in usually with a plate.
Yeah, don’t worry about smoke and the environment, that stuff is for Vegans! That was one impressive burn you got going there Hunter, almost as good as some of the Australian UA-camrs accept you didn’t get turbo runaway! No doubt you got a good burn, and the turbo only let go once the oil supply started to fail, but we want to see a runaway. One where you guys have to run away from the truck before the tank blows. There are some good Australian clips where the turbos come apart and there is shrapnel flying over their heads. Have fun, and stay safe; cheers from down under!

I wonder if you could set up the smokestack like a bunsen burner: get some air mixed in with the smoke and maybe pipe the oil vapor in and see if you can get a cool afterburner effect as you flare all that stuff off.

Thank you for explaining why this was being done, to demonstrate how a turbo works and what it accomplishes to a degree. Until these words I was getting a little curious why this video was being done. There was no description in words or talk at the beginning. I was also a little nervous for you and the others being so close to the big tank - I was also afraid that it would blow up!
At first, I believed you were demonstrating the concept of "producing a substance that is flammable and can be used in a vehicle motor". I'm not sure whether or not any of the output from the tank was that substance and being used as such. Glad you did this at night so the visual effect was considerable and could be appreciated.
