You can taper the sleeves by crocheting a "ribbed cuff" at the wrist area, which will need to be done as an "add on" later. This is simple and looks nice. FYI: If your HIPS are the widest part of your body, then I assume I must measure around that, and give a few more inches of "ease". This sweater looks nice, and something that could be adjusted for those of us who are a Pear Shape. I usually must adjust the top part so that it is smaller than my HIPS which are the widest part of my body (wider than my shoulders and/or bust). Thanks again for this nice easy sweater pattern.
I am definitely pear shaped lol. I make my shirts short because they bunch up around my waist. Also thank you for the ribbed cuff idea. I'll have to give it a try 😊
Marie, Wonderful exactly what I am wanting to make my Clara 12yrs for her to use as backup in school... she's wanting an oversized Cardigan. This is so pretty! I'll decide what yarn then I'm ready. Oh my how much yarn will I need..thats my question. I love JHook. My favorite is Susan Bates. I have bought a few HERO J hooks to replace the ones I lost in house fire way back in 1985. Could have saved that money...lol I will definitely be using your tutorial to make a Gift for my girl. Stay Safe the weather is bad all over. We are expecting Sleet and Snow all next week. Lows in 21° oh my...East Texas weather changes in a matter of hours. It's 64° today 😂❤ Take care Marie & Moses! 🥰🫶🏻❤️🙏🏻
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! And yea, those J hooks are awesome for 4 weights especially!! 😊 We will do our best staying safe out there and God will do the rest. Be blessed! 💜💛💚
WOW beautiful sweater❤❤ I probably won’t be crocheting this but may follow your pattern for panels on the Sentro.. thank you so much Marie. Very lovely stitches.
So pretty Marie!! 🥰 I watched while I was crocheting a baby blanket for my great granddaughter. I am going to make it in the future. I have so many two dudes on my list. 😂
Hi there, at first I thought you made a shrug and it is pretty then closer inspection realized you said sweater. lol One thing I want to make myself if I ever finish the items i'm working on. :/ So many things I want to make and neeeeeeddd lol and the hours of the day are not long enough plus my aching hands. Thank you for sharing this I think it's pretty.
Okay great instructions…watched the whole video…not a big fan of wearing a sweater top (too hot blooded) I usually use a cardigan so I can take it off if needed…..I believe that stitch is a twist on a double V stitch. I was watching you make this and making beanies for the boys. 😊
Thats awesome thank you! You're the only one so far that thinks they know the name if the stitch 😂😉 those beanies keep you busy. You should do a tutorial. I cant make them.

Beautiful. That yarn looks lovely and soft.
Its not bad at all especially considering its wool but the alpaca makes up for it definitely 👍😊
