- Say hello to Wildy Br0, my ultimate ironman that is locked to the Wilderness! I must survive in one of Old School Runescape's most difficult regions. The goal? To conquer the living sh** out of it. I hope you enjoy.

Anybody really complaining about lamp only is ridiculous imo but it seems like that is a very small crowd who don't need to be appeased. The challenege and idea of these videos alone is great it's already extremely hard and time consuming. By making small exceptions at the beginning to unlock much more content makes it better for you and for the viewers. Great vid dust

100% agree. I also really liked Avra’s Wildy UIM series, but he burned out from it because he didn’t make any similar exceptions and it was just too restricted at the start. I respect the decision to give yourself some base stats to be able to do the lowest level content in the wildy right off the bat. Honestly would be fine with training up to 27 hunter, too
@@MrRyanCock Thanks for the thought on that, I see a few people would be cool with that as well. I just didn't want to upset the UIM community lol. There was definitely a lack of content when the OG wildy guys started, it's a lot more fun now 😀
Producing content is more important than purity
After watching so many of these area locked accounts, I’m all for skipping lamping and just getting the damn skill up. It gets repetitive to see someone posting every single one of the 500 genies they need to unlock a single skill. As long as you’re not going crazy, I think exceptions for training to ~30 is fine for most skills
Personally. I’d be okay with him training hunter to 67

Yea agreed he made the exceptions which he definitely should have so need to do some niche super struggle methods for that. If someone was really angry about him not lamping for 2 years of gametime then they would still be angry whether the method was fast or miserably slow

Personally I think any grinding outside wildy for minimum requirements should be done as fast as possible, nothing is kept anyway and only time is wasted (Time that could used for more content is being wasted!)

Yeah it just seems like he wanted to copy Swampletics by doing a dumb grind to X agility level. Difference here is that the broken bridge in Morytania was Settled's only way of training the skill. The monkey bar grind from 15-52 takes long enough tbh.
Yeah if you're going to do an exception, do it! You didn't have to waste 4 hours climbing back and forth over the Falador wall

Will you be doing the outside of windy things in a pvp world? I think that would be a cool idea. Or even letting yourself do hunter in pvp worlds and dropping what you catch until the minimum level to catch in the wildy?
Thanks for the suggestion! I could but honestly its so quiet nowadays in PVP worlds I probably wouldn't even run into anyone for hours. Real sad how it died down, but who knows maybe it'll pick up and be as it once was 😀

I'm a big fan of risky HC shit but once I watched the video I'm just as excited to watch your UIM progress, and get some sick escapes. I've heard that UIM is constantly taking one step forward and two steps back, adding that to being locked to the wildy is some biblical shit

I like the exceptions for agility and mining and agree with the crafting lamp. However, given the nature of the diaries, I think you should make an exception for hunter. You can play it with doing only chins the whole way as soon as possible to keep it in theme.

chaos dwarves drop muddy keys which are good for some loot.
dark warriors fortress has a 5 chaos and mind runes spawn that can be useful

When you start going for hard clues what’s nice about a uim is you can death pile a completable step and that will last in that pile for a whole hour and you can go for another completable step (I’m sure you’ll have ferox respawn unlocked so it’s fair game)and can keep refreshing these clue death piles until you say have 3 wildy steps shouldn’t be to hard with the amount of wildy steps.

@@OSRSDust of course man! always love your content and as a 10hp uim that takes on the wildy excited to see what you can do out there! also that method doesnt "save your step" you can just have multiple clues on step 0 in multiple death piles, so you can do each clue until hit a drop step then can pick up one of the death piled clues and it will be on the same step you just droped. picking up a future dropped clue will reset clue steps to 0, so have to already death piled. but you can refresh these piles by re suiciding before the hour runs out. sorry if that was a lot.
Honestly it would probably take years to get 27 hunter from lamps, just go on and make an exception for that too imo

I wanted to ask, how do you edit your videos to have that live-motion/HD style of osrs at the end of your video? I have noticed it in several OSRS creators recently and I'm very interested how you all are achieving this.
Thank u very much for the kind words 😀. I use a program called Blender and import objects/characters from OSRS into that program and then create thumbnails/animations. It takes a long time but it looks really cool 😂

Just noticed some artifacts with your runelite hd plugin which you can try fixing by disabling hardware acceleration. "copied information from a github post" Make shortcut of runelite > right click properties on the shortcut > and add
--mode=OFF at the end of the target box. Make sure there is a space before the double lines
And if you have performance issues in general with runelite then try installing the 64bit version on their site as the standard left click install is a 32bit version of the client.

This video made it to my recommended, looking interesting and I do enjoy watching snowflake irons. I do have a question though, how will you be able to keep anything in the wilderness at all? like any boss unique or rev weapons for example, it could take months to grind for let's say a craw's bow and then one death means wipe.
Yes, that is the ultimate challenge. I can store gp, mage arena 2 capes, elder chaos robes, and dagon hai. But it will truly suck to lose a wildy weapon lol. Hopefully I'll put it to good use before then 😂
