    The Dessert Isle metal king slime is back in the corner area on the ledge above the water. Finally got one there to confirm.

    To the people who have a Liquid Metal Slime, just keep fusing it until it has both Agility IV and III, as well as a talent tree with Boom/Kaboom/Kaboomle, at level 100 it can outspeed the metal king slimes and boom them all. Can even savescum for 4 metal kings to get that fat 5.6m xp in late game.

    Metal family has a higher spawn rate once you beat the final area. Near dessert isle you have to go all the way around the corner for the metal king, can be a bit tricky. Ingress isle in temper advanced can also spawn metal king and liquid but the king only spawns on the island so check in winter. Finally you can go to quarry to check for spawns and then go around to the talon location to cut back on zooming

    Once you find a metal king slime, if you save close to where it spawns, once you reset it will reroll the monsters that appear in the MKS battle.
    This way once you find one you can easily keep resetting to get 3-4 MKS per fight

    to add to your route, for the desserted isle teleport, when you turn around and look for the liquid metal slime, the bridge on your right go across and the tree on the left a liquid slime can spawn there also. for those looking for the most spawns per route.

    I noticed with Toothache Lake metal slime king almost always appeared with a Winter timeframe and raining candy for me. I've been seeing it before I beat the circle of corruption at the upper level. But then I noticed it in another season so maybe it is not season locked. I did recently find the Circle of Temper one out of nowhere glad to know it will spawn there from now on.

    I'd say seed farming is more important since you can do that anywhere and can potentially max out all your stats. Rack up easy to scout monsters until you are asked to send one to the farm and then release all your recent ones for random 5 stat-up seeds. Granted levels are important too as certain abilities scale with them.

    • @devontoner
      @devontoner 7 місяців тому +1

      you can also max stat monsters through synthesizing them at high levels because the stats of a monster made through synthesis equals the stats of the parents added together then divided by 4

    • @JoeBee9
      @JoeBee9 7 місяців тому +1

      @@devontoner Yes, that works too although you need to ensure parents are at high levels or the stats actually go way down (found that out the hard way). What I did is use synthesizing to get the skill sets I wanted and then maxed out stats using seeds. It takes a long time but you'll crush anything that stands in your way. It's crazy seeing your monsters doing over 300 damage with a basic physical attack.

    The thing that I never see anyone mentioning is how to get the metal slimes to respawn after defeating them. Do you just have to keep running circles? Do you need to leave the zone? Does the season have to change? People could be wasting a ton of time running circles without knowing the right trigger to expect to be able to find more. This would be super helpful to know, if anyone does.

    • @Mattius14
      @Mattius14 7 місяців тому

      FYI for anyone that finds this, I finally did come across at least a liquid metal slime after having taken one down on this route, a couple of seasons changed before I did find one, so I believe it's likely that just persistence is the key. It took me a -really- long time to find one, and only liquid, but I think people just downplay how long it really takes sometimes before you see anything. Anyone feel free to correct me if wrong.

    Yeah I ain't getting Kings just liquid. However 160000+ Exp (when you a Bumper Bonus Ball) is still nothing to sneeze at either. With that said though I will state some things that I learned.
    1. Seasons Matter. Spring and Fall I ran into them the most (up to three in a row in three locations). Winter & Summer found 1 during the entire season always in Barbatos's Bastion.
    2. Rain/Silent times (no BGM) spawn in alt sites Alt sites. So when you hear BGM playing the three best times are the Talon Rock, Dessert Isle, and Barbatos's Bastion
    3. There are two other locations to look at in the Circle of Fortitude one is in the first floor of Barbatos's Bastion as your turning in the upper east section there are two Mandrake Majors that walk in a circle the metal slime (in my case "liquid") hangs out there in any season. The other time is when it's raining outside in the upper east part outside (in the construction area were the ladder tower is) When there are Brollygagger's roaming the area is the best time to see it.
    4. To hit Jackpot with three or more (were all or two stay) there can not be any other enemy nearby or you'll get one. Best place is Talon Rock.
    I don't know if it's the same for everyone or if there may be other RNG or programing, but for my copy this is the hand I'm dealt with, and I have not beaten the game yet.
