the game was played in Ljubljana,Croatia wasn't really involved in a war in those times,but 30% of their territory was occupied by the VRS(army of Serbs not borne in Serbia),only in '95 they regained large parts of it by 2 military operations, and the fully regaining was made peacefully by the '98 (e.g. Vukovar wasn't controlled by the Croats for 7 years)
@@emirbojicic Yeah, 20,30% of Croatia was under control of Serbs, when this game took place in 1993. Actually, Steaua never made a comeback, after losing the first game on home soil, and this game was played in Slovenia, probably on Maximir in Zagreb it would have been a lot more difficult to win.

what a wonderfull match and this match in Romania was not LIVE on tv only on radio station so we listen it and finnaly celebrate the qualification in next round because this was the second leg, in the first one DINAMO ZAGREB 2-1 wins on Ghencea ( Bucharest) so the feeling was verry intense ! GR8 teams by bouth size, now pity cause FCSB who supose to represent STEAUA from those days are far away from early days and STEAUA BUCURESTI(the other team, we have 2 STEAUA in ROMANIA) has only the badge and a new stadium is still in 3rd league of Romania so they are even far from what we supose to be , a wonderful team which it was a long time ago... So we must learn that in romanian "mandria si prostia se platesc" that means in translate that we are not so clever and maybe here I am gentle with my expresion cause the right words are : we are stupid ! Conclusion from a normal suporter of UNIC STEAUA BUCURESTI is : FUCK JIJI, FUCK TALPAN ! _i_ Those 2 idiots destroy STEAUA !

the army of the so-called army of the Republic of Serbian Krajina occupied some 20% of Croatian territory and they were rebels in their own country
