Hi I had a site of about 110 articles reaching 40-something daily traffic by month 4, since then its dipped and at 200 articles in Month 10 its ranging between 20-30 daily and less than the month 4 peak (It's been ranging since August 2023 to date) . Should I keep writing and waiting or is something wrong? By the way, some months ago I used ChatGPT to generate topics, I didn't trust it that much. But now you've validated the technique.

If you don’t mind, see if it works on a different device. I have no idea why UA-cam does that. I’ve not found any pattern in which devices do it and on which videos.
Great example of how to utilize AI to make content ethically! Do you have any advice on changing a domain while still in the ghost town phase? Is doing that as risky as changing it later on down the line (my site is about 1 month old at this point).

I Always Set one or two links from older articles to the new one...and one or to two links from the new one to older... So i am Sure every article has incoming links... Spider
That's definitely a good thing to do. Then every article is guaranteed to have links going out and in. And those incoming links are going to help get the new content indexed and ranked faster.

Definitely topical authority primarily, but I still recommend including low competition queries in your topic clusters.

I confess I have been avoiding AI like the plague. I think it is the devil's own. However, I really do need some new ideas for blog posts and I want to know what people are actually searching for, so I will give this technique a try.

Why does your sound keep cutting out
I am wondering why you don’t use Terrain Treaders anymore for these examples. I realize for some things like this it probably doesn’t matter which site you use to show the methods but it did seem to be helpful watching you build a new site from the ground up and implementing these tactics sequentially along the way. I get not wanting to reveal your Project Doubletime site yet but I thought the point of TT was to show the methods you’re using to build a new site in todays blogging landscape.
It is. The problem is that I was trying to work on too many things at the same time. So right now I'm focusing mostly on my Project Doubletime and my second highest focus is/will be on a revamp of Cook for Folks which I'll be showing soon (and which can be very public).
Terrain Treaders is still something we plan to do very publicly, but due to time constraints, we're just not really working on it right now other than posting some articles. Once we're ready to do another step we'll treat it as a project and do it publicly.
There are internet marketing experts who are advising to write massive amounts of content using AI in order to achieve topical authority. In one case, he wrote 50 articles on apple pies. Are you confident Google can wade through all that content and is a dozen well written articles enough to get noticed?
Unless they’re taking the considerable time to make their content valuable, it’s not going to work in most cases.
I’m not against using AI to help but our content should always add something of value to the information on the internet. AI can’t really do that in its own because it is incapable of experiencing life.
@@IncomeSchool That sounds reasonable, but the term "valuable" id subjective. I have less faith than you that Google can sift through the massive amount of content and choose wisely. I base this on recent SERP results, which in many cases promote crappy content.

Mostly. Not entirely but mostly. For most of my content, I’m not that worried about competition and volume. For that reason, I’m planning a complete remake of our search analysis process.

is ChatGP sufficiently mature to automatically generate content for a specialist blog in such a way that it can be quickly montetized to pull in a few grand a month?
No. Well, I mean maybe you could make some money with ChatGPT-only content, but I don’t believe it would last.
Long-term success with content creation is best achieved by creating uniquely valuable content which takes more work and can’t be reproduced by ChatGPT at this point.

In my previous comment you said th sites with fewer topics will develop faster, why?!
It's faster to write 30 articles on one topic than it is to write 30 articles on each of 5 different topics. You'll develop topical authority faster by focusing on a single topic than if you spread your energy and content across multiple topics.
