If you look down the road, we may never have a lottery pick for the next couple of decades. Believe it or not, we were actually worse offensively then we were defensively. We desperately need guys that can spread the floor for Vassell and Wemby. You have to target guards and dynamic scorers that shoot over 40% from deep. Osman was our only shooter that made over 38% from the 3 point line. There are a few guards that would really add to our offense without being streaky, like Rob Dillingham or Reed Sheppard. You never want to use a lottery pick on a 3 and d guy or a guy that is a shutdown defender, unless he has Leonard-type potential. But that is very hard to find. And we definitely should not draft Topic, the next Nando. No way! Even Doncic, if that's the comparison, was a far superior shooter, making 42% of his 3s. Topic can't shoot from deep.

Spurs don't need the best pg as they'll play mostly through Wemby, but they will need a pg that's a knockdown 3 point shooter and a good facilitator. Wemby should average 5-6 ast this upcoming season.
Rob Dillingham is A Great Pick for the Rockets. I’d play him as our backup pg This will be Fred vanfleets last season with us. (3rd year not guaranteed Because we have to pay JALEN green and alperun sengun We just spent multiple second round picks on Steven Adams who is only 30 (meaning he has a few years left of good backup center play ) reed sheppard is not a shot creator only catch and shot .we stand around too much as it is we need real creators. I watch all the rockets games. We literally don’t have shot creators when Fred sits. Amen Thompson will do better as a sf with rockets because having him at pg with no spacing is a recipe for failure. Rob dillingham has the same measurements as Allen Iverson.
Yep, kinda agree with your points but we have at least 3 shot creators in Green/Cam/Sengun. I still think we should trade Sengun as he’s a drag on the offense and our personnel is not built for an inside/out. It’s a guard-oriented offense and Sengun never fit. If we don’t draft Rob Dillingham, I’d like to see the Rockets draft Tidjane Salaun as a replacement to Jabari Smith Jr whom I think is too soft and scare of jumping. We wont have that problem with Tidjane. But he’s raw right now….will need some time to develope in the D-League.
Green is a self creator sg not a pg. he takes a lot of shots and misses a lot hes not the most efficient and he doesn’t make his teammates better yet. Cam is also a good self creator but terrible passer a lot of cams passing get tipped or he turns it over while running full speed. Sengun is the best passer on the team he’ll hit anybody with a dot. I think dilingham fits the playmaking and shot creating we need to play with inside bigs. Everybody can’t play with inside bigs because there natural slashers. I think dillingham has a nice mid range game float game pull up 3s catch n shoot 3s slasher dunker layups. He checks the boxes to bring the playmaking and scoring we need off the bench.
@@Court_1988 I think this year he gets traded. Hes already been exposed as holding Green and the team, back. It will be magnified even more when we start losing and struggling to score. All signs will point to Sengun. He's getting traded and that will be a big relief to see him and his delusional fanboys LEAVE MY ROCKETS.
My Spurs is taking Rob Dillingham at 4 and Reed/Matas/Dalton/Nikola in that order of option depending who is available Zacc could also an option at 8, but no way he's not a top 5
Knicks fans (in the unlikely event they keep both picks) want a big man and a ball handler like Tyler Kolek because the Knicks struggled horribly with turnovers when Brunson was off the floor. Even Randle serving as point forward wasn't helping.
Based on his size I feel Rob Dillingham is a reach at #3. But boy if he excels at the NBA level. There is enough defensive talent around him to mask his lack of size. The few players I see averaging 20 ppg in this draft. 👌
So Rob is coming off the bench??? Because he’s not starting over Fred! Not starting over Green! Pick makes no sense! But really no pick because they seem to have their starting 5 already.
Do you think Collier could be the steal of this draft? Reminds me of Maxeys fall. Not saying he will be as good as Maxey but could def be starting caliber PG for a contender
Thanks you 🙏🏻 for mocking a shot creating athlete to Sacramento which is exactly what we need Not a passive unathletic 3pt shooter like everyone else mocks to us

If you need idea for video content. Possible go over injury history of the lottery picks? As a hornets fan I really think injury history can help who we pick cause good lord w melo/williams injury history picking another injury prone guy would be horrible
Reed Shepard will make any team absolutely lethal from 3 point range. I get the feeling that he’s going to be one of the greatest 3 point shooters to ever play.
A long, LONGTIME Spurs insider, LJ Ellis -- you can look him up -- has reported the Spurs are lukewarm on Topic, from people in the FO and European scouts, especially since the injury. That they'd have to see Topic back in competition to even consider using a first round pick on him. And thankfully so -- Topic doesn't shoot, doesn't defend, and needs the ball in his hands to be effective, he's injury prone. Even the size thing -- I'm suspect Topic is really 6'6, he looks more like 6'4 in shoes. And this whole lob threat thing -- yes, Vic's a lob threat, but Vic's going to be handling the ball much more as a CREATOR than guys like Lively or Gafford. Lively and Gafford don't handle the ball at all; Wemby will be bringing up the ball on multiple possessions per quarter; the Spurs offense is predicated on multiple ball handlers, cutters, dribble handoffs. If you need evidence for this beyond just the Jeremy Sochan point guard experiment, just note that Malaki Branham, a pure 2, and Blake Wesley a big combo guard, spent ALL of last season playing backup point guard after Tre Jones moved into the starting lineup. If you look at it strictly from how their offense is run, it screams Castle or Dillingham or even Reed Sheppard. Any one of them will be backing up Tre Jones to start next season with a chance if they're playing well to be playing a 6th man-style role in the end. Think you should flip your mock to Stephon Castle and put Topic down the board, if you still want, at 8 as their upside swing. But I think in that slot, they'll go after a wing.
I'm not sold on Topic to the Spurs. He needs more scoring gravity. Real chance he gets sagged off like Giddey. Then Wemby is just gonna get blitzed by everyone and Topic becomes unplayable both on offense and defense. I'd take Reed punishing the blitz on an open 3 or Stephon Castle providing positive Defense so Wemby is less exhausted on offense.
I look back at the 2021 draft for confirmation. At the time the spurs were mocked to get Alperen Senguin by just about everyone and they passed on him because of defense. They did the same thing in 2020 with Ty Haliburton because of defense. They missed on non defenders like Lonnie and Luka S. so I think there's hesitancy off of that
As a Die-hard Blazers fan I absolutely love your takes on all the teams. U know yo' stuff n I'm here for it‼️🤟🏽 However.. Local Portland vibes is us not being high on Kyle Filipowski..arms are super short n will not be able to gaurd Centers n too slow to gaurd on the perimeter. We just had Kel'el Ware here in tryouts.
If Masai selects Edey at 19th, he must be fired immediately. Edey doesnt fit with current Raptors and back up 5 is not the priority. We are also not sure how he translates to NBA.
If my Spurs cannot trade up for Risacher then we need to go for Matas Buzelis. As far as our 8th pick I really like Tidjane Salaun or Ron Holland. Next years draft class is stacked we could get a good PG then.
We dnt want Edey.. The Nba games is not suitable for him.. Look whats happening to even Gobert who is way more moble. No Thanks to Edey.. We Need Shooting Shooting Shooting.. Did I mention Shooting?
Yes, finally! Holland is a better prospect than Castle for Charlotte. I can see him hitting his ceiling with Charles Lee. I would have him at the 3 and always have either him or Martin harrassing from the wings. Miller at the 2, Mann from the bench; Melo and Micic. Then you still have Curry when needed and Nick Smith and Amari Bailey to grow in and out the G. Move on from Bryce McGowens and Leaky Black and draft a wing with the 2nd round pick (Harrison Ingram for example).
I’m really starting to like the idea of having the Spurs pick two guards. Especially the two that were mocked. I would hope the Spurs pick Castle. I think with him being at 6’6” and able to run the point is something we wanted to run in the beginning of our season with the Jeremy experiment at point. With the Spurs it’s defense first.
My NYK’s are not freak’n taking Holmes 🙄 the Knicks hate is real folks! My team is in need of wings bruh, and if these 2 picks are utilized, they would draft plus sized wings! A big man can easily be drafted in round 2. Holmes more than likely would be available at pick 38.
The Thunder are ready to contend now and need a big who can contribute quickly, not a project like Salaun. They already have another French project around that size, in Ousmane Dieng, who still looks far away from being a rotation piece, two years after being drafted, and may never get there.
Collier to the magic is silly brother. We need play making, shooting, this doesnt fit what the magic need…bad pick in my opinion, he cant shoot and more so thats what we beed is shooting

How's that Cunningham, Ivy pairing working out? Pretty much how i though it would 😏 Jokes aside, Detroit is cursed by the NBA gods... I agree that the Knicks might move off of Mitch because of injuries amd the need to resign iHart, would love a big that has offensive skills, i also do believe they'll trade 1 of the picks.
Detroit just needs to allow Ivey to have real possessions creating offense while placing Cade in the weakside corner or some small to small screens. Lack of creative coaching has been more problematic than the two skillsets imo.

@@ajgreene5677 He will be like Trae Young on defense with Garland’s offense and that’s if things go pretty well. I think he’s fine to take maybe even as high as 3 I just personally would be hesitant to do that and do not at all believe he can be the best player in the class unless it really is an all time stinker
@@bkelly625his size wont help him at all. being a Kentucky guard probably helps his draft stock slightly though. i think he would only start on bad teams early in his career. If he winds up on a good team he fits really well IMO as the teams primary scorer off the bench. Honestly feel like hes a Jordan Poole. As a starter with the best players on the court his play style is very hard to fit in. Off the bench where hes clearly the best scorer it makes sense to allow him to use his style of play.
you hit it. but i think they would pick castle at 4 then topic or salaun at 8.
Castle obviously wants to fall to 8 so he can be paired with Wemby and the #4 prospect. Thats why he dont work out for pistons charlotte Portland with Cade LaMelo scoot
@@chickenwinck No, Castle does not want to "fall" to 8 😂🤦🏻♂. That would literally cost him millions of dollars. He wants to go as high as possible, just like every other prospect.
Hopefully not Salaun. He's really raw and, more importantly, a really poor defender. His defense is downright bad. Spurs need guys who can defend.
@@bballer191 Spurs need more lockdown defenders, that is true, but they should not waste either top 10 pick on one. That would be the worst thing to do at this point.
@@spursgoat84 we probably won't even make the play-in next season...teams don't usually jump from 22 wins to playoffs over one Summer...so I'd bet on our own pick being in the lottery 2025. Chicago pick could convey high lottery 11-14. Atlanta pick could easily convey lottery. Literally we have 3 chances at a lottery pick next season bro j/s
Spur won't take Topic at 4 unless he backs to the court before draft day.
For me, it's probably Castle.
If ZR or Sarr falls, big steal.
My concern with Castle is that he doesn’t come off as a natural point guard. Who knows maybe he’ll turn into Jason Kid with the facilitating given the chance but I have doubt. I’d personally like tip-off see us trade our 4th pick and Keldon for Risacher. As far as our 8th pick I like Tidjane or Ron Holland.
@@Tain950
Thanks for your message!!!
I like your image trade for Risacher,
But RJ is our biggest tradable asset,
I hope we could use it more effective.
So I made an imagination trade for three teams:
Magic get: Malaki + Graham + Okoro + Hornet's pick
Cav get: Keldon + Zach + Fultz(sign & trade) + no.8 pick
Spur get: Garland + Isaac
Garland at low price now, but Cav still want something back.
Magic want more cap space & shooters who can create his own shoot.
Spur get PG & defender, and keep no.4 pick for backup.
It maybe Risacher, who knows.
@@jameskou4034 brutal trade. So the spurs give the least value and get all the best players/assets in the trade haha? That trade couldn't get garland alone, just a bunch of spurs junk AND the worst of their two firsts this yr lmao, and then somehow get Isaac on top of it?!?! The magic would trade for Garland themselves, they dont want or need any of that junk. Keldon is not the asset you think he is, AT ALL. He is not valued and is in most trades as the salary required, Keldon doesnt get you a good player or asset on the market. There is ZERO way that the spurs get Garland and keep Vassell, and even then it would take a little more added to Vassell. Garland is not at a low price now, his market is totally fine and plenty high. There is zero discount on him
@@grapeape1965
Thanks for your message!!!
Learned something.
Maybe my image trade is so bad for you.
But I won't say any players as junk.
Have a nice day.
Spurs don't need the best pg as they'll play mostly through Wemby, but they will need a pg that's a knockdown 3 point shooter and a good facilitator. Wemby should average 5-6 ast this upcoming season.
Blazers taking Buzelis and Filipowski...rough draft.
@@judarod1thank god you’re not the rockets Gm !!! Sengun is best player also saluan is way too raw
@@Court_1988lmao the dude still tryna trade Sengun after 3 season 🤣
@@Court_1988
I think this year he gets traded.
I dont think any Piston fans will complain about adding shooting around Cade.
Facts this is best case scenario for them
They're in the comments already... talking about they have too many guards.
50:27 yeah he is going to be a huge bust. Would not draft him in the 1st round. Him and Bronny James at USC were terrible. Not bad, TERRIBLE.
Do you think Collier could be the steal of this draft? Reminds me of Maxeys fall. Not saying he will be as good as Maxey but could def be starting caliber PG for a contender
Thanks you 🙏🏻 for mocking a shot creating athlete to Sacramento which is exactly what we need
Not a passive unathletic 3pt shooter like everyone else mocks to us
Don't like the Magic pick. Need shooting Will likely end up with Monk and already have several we are developing So this is a nothing draft for Magic fans
I'm not agree with some picks with you because nobody seems to be alla above the others i'm agree number 1 and 2 and in 4 Castle and 8 salaun in five big question
Just help the algorithm out. Turtles, Beyoncé, parks and rec, hey man, I accidentally sent two comments, but I figured it helps you out in the long run so I know no one’s gonna read this and you may read this not a big deal but you’re doing awesome man keep up the good work. Also…..Go Spurs go.
appreciate you🔥🔥🔥
Finally someone does a mock draft that gets it right at #13 for the Kings.
Thanks for the video
I would Rather go with Sheppard than Dillingham
Why would the Bucks draft a guard when they have Beauchamp, Jackson Jr and Green
If you need idea for video content. Possible go over injury history of the lottery picks? As a hornets fan I really think injury history can help who we pick cause good lord w melo/williams injury history picking another injury prone guy would be horrible
wizards get Sarr here but maybe should take Castle and draft a big man later
Pistons desperately need Reed Shepard!! Like Booker
Sorry, my Rockets need him too
Reed Shepard will make any team absolutely lethal from 3 point range.
Buzelis sucks. Too slow to be a 3 and can't shoot the NBA range. Too weak to be a 4.
THE LAKERS I THINK WILL "NOT" SELECT TYLER SMITH #17 OVERALL....THIS MOCK HERE IS A REAL "B U S T O F F "
Stop projecting Zach Eddy to us, just cuz he’s Canadian, he is not that good
How about a mock draft in which the team trades the pick for a reasonable player from another team.
I think Rocket will draft Sheppard at 3 and Spurs Castle at 4.
If Holland is in the board and the Hornets don’t take him I will be very disappointed
Trey Alexander
Castle yes
Topic NOOOOOOOO
I'm not sold on Topic to the Spurs. He needs more scoring gravity. Real chance he gets sagged off like Giddey. Then Wemby is just gonna get blitzed by everyone and Topic becomes unplayable both on offense and defense. I'd take Reed punishing the blitz on an open 3 or Stephon Castle providing positive Defense so Wemby is less exhausted on offense.
This is exactly how I feel And he even lacks the speed giddey has And is worse defensively
Add the knee injuries, and I feel like topic is the only wrong pick for the spurs at 4 or 8
I look back at the 2021 draft for confirmation. At the time the spurs were mocked to get Alperen Senguin by just about everyone and they passed on him because of defense. They did the same thing in 2020 with Ty Haliburton because of defense. They missed on non defenders like Lonnie and Luka S. so I think there's hesitancy off of that
I will end my fandom if the Hawks do this. They are so stupid.
Trae Young has one foot out of Atlanta. This is a foolish draft pick.
I’m done selling my self on capela he’s declined to much, I need him gone.
Topic is injury prone, Spurs should avoid him.
Lol terrible pick for the pistons won't happen at all
No way Houston taking another guard if not reed
17:59 “This guy can really fill it up behind the arc”
I would love this pick for the Pistons
Loved this mock - maybe most of the ones you've done! Keep it up!
Good video. Sounds you've done some research on a lot of the prospects and articulated that very very well
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed
2025 and 2026 n°1 drafts will be two french. In 25 Nolan Traore and 26 a HUGE surprise .. 😉
Collier? Trade the pick lol
Suns will pick Bronny.
As a Die-hard Blazers fan I absolutely love your takes on all the teams. U know yo' stuff n I'm here for it‼️🤟🏽
However.. Local Portland vibes is us not being high on Kyle Filipowski..arms are super short n will not be able to gaurd Centers n too slow to gaurd on the perimeter. We just had Kel'el Ware here in tryouts.
Leta go Raptors
No Terrence Shannon Jr???
If Masai selects Edey at 19th, he must be fired immediately. Edey doesnt fit with current Raptors and back up 5 is not the priority. We are also not sure how he translates to NBA.
If my Spurs cannot trade up for Risacher then we need to go for Matas Buzelis. As far as our 8th pick I really like Tidjane Salaun or Ron Holland. Next years draft class is stacked we could get a good PG then.
Solid Mock Draft
We dnt want Edey.. The Nba games is not suitable for him.. Look whats happening to even Gobert who is way more moble. No Thanks to Edey.. We Need Shooting Shooting Shooting.. Did I mention Shooting?
I want the wizards to draft topic 2nd and edey with 26th
Yes, finally! Holland is a better prospect than Castle for Charlotte. I can see him hitting his ceiling with Charles Lee. I would have him at the 3 and always have either him or Martin harrassing from the wings. Miller at the 2, Mann from the bench; Melo and Micic. Then you still have Curry when needed and Nick Smith and Amari Bailey to grow in and out the G. Move on from Bryce McGowens and Leaky Black and draft a wing with the 2nd round pick (Harrison Ingram for example).
Yes Bub Carringtion to my Pelicans. Why don't you think the Pels will keep the Lakers Pick? We need a Big and a True PG
Nd not too much on my boy al farouq alinu the chief😤. But i 100% agree that Matas would be an upgrade in terms of ball handling and playmaking from our forwards
Bulls won’t go gaurd with White, Ayo
Bulls need a PF or a C especially if we're not bringing Andre Drummond back. We are good at the guard
Im a lil less sure about how good of a playmaker reed is. Personally i think the pistons should take Dalton Knecht 5th and run away w it
Sheldon, has anyone told you that you look like the guy from the Dune movie series? (The new ones)
Pretty good Mock
collier to the magic. why?? why would the magic need a pg that can't shoot and isn't the best floor general?
Collier passes the ball very well. One of his strongest traits
@UtilitySports dude they literally have anthony black for playmaking
Love your work bro! It's always on point but spurs ain't taking topic lol but Castle at 4 is high potential
Great video, cant wait for the one with trades ..but u said it in this video, both will have spacing issuses , at 4 if we dont get for some
reason either Kentucky guard by then it more likely be Castle ... Alien in the Mask... We dont need two pass first none shooters
(Spurs fan here) Another dooe video!! 🔥🔥🔥 Looking forward to your video tomorrow talking about us moving up for a trade! 😳 I never even thought about that as an option.
I have a feeling that Stephen and Dalton will be our two lottery picks. You address defense and pure shooting with these two picks.
@@UtilitySports I can't agree or disagree as i only watch them vs the Knicks, but y'all have a stud in Ausar Thompson, that kid is gonna be something special a few years.
@@UtilitySports No, they need to replace Ivey with someone who is actually good.
Nikola topic is literally a slower shorter Ben Simmons , I don’t see all the hype around him
dillingham to the rockets is a bad fit. he would never get minutes under udoka. he cant play defense.
That’s not how Udoka operates. Putting offensive talent on the floor for a coach who built an elite defensive scheme makes so much sense
@@UtilitySports that's definitely how he operates. Udoka said in the interview right after the rockets were awarded the third pick that he is looking for shooting, a player that's well rounded, shot creation and versatility across the board with how Houston plays and defends. That tells me it's clear he wants a player that plays defense. Those attributes fit reed Sheppard to a tee.
🤣 Bro, Only you would see the value in taking Zacc #1 but cool. I'll take Zarr and will have a nice day.....Our future is bright. Glad we got a 1rp for Gaff 👍

Salaun at 4 castle at 8…
@@chickenwinck as long as they don't let Salaun fall to OKC!!!

This would be two big mistakes. You don't draft a defender that can't shoot and fouls a lot with a top 4 pick, and you don't draft a huge project at #8. You either use the picks in a big trade or draft guards that can shoot the 3 ball.
There’s other PGs with more height, reach and weight than Dillingham. Then the decision rests on shiftiness is he a Trae Young or D. Garland .
I can't imagine that, with the recent injuries, Topic goes in the top 8. There's just no way.
Id be surprised if okc lets cody williams and knecht get drafted right before their pick
Filipowski is not a lottery pick 😂 and not having Jaylon Tyson in your first round is idiotic.

Would love to see a Pacers offseason video now that their season is over, appreciate ur work tho, quality
if you seen pacers kicks series i believe TJ McConnell was extremely important in 4 wins for pacers ,he went end to end ,was a pest to Brunson, and hit the most timely buckets inside, outside, mid range, FTs..Reed Sheppard is that kinda of player only on a much higher level of talent...throw him in their and be a pest on defense and offensively shoot fr anywhere on court
Pistons need Holland no more guard we get shepherd Ivey gone
you think Pistons should select Knecht rhyme time select Knecht Yo
Sarr better than Gafford? DG has set the bar pretty high with your Mavs.
