2nd Leg NC to UT, Kansa to Colorado, Slight Crosswind

About midway between El Dorado State Park and Pike’s Peak. Not a lot of trees to slow the crosswind down. Come across a few interesting signage. Past the sight of Sandy Creek Massacre, a reminder that the U.S. is not always on the good side of history.

I've encountered winds while driving my jeep across Nevada, I recall thinking , Wow, I'm glad I'm not on a bike. As a young man I rode mostly Harleys, as an old guy now I enjoy my KLR. I never learned to enjoy a strong wind, stay safe brother!

Thanks! I’d heard of it being an issue, even causing some strange tire wear, but hours and hours of crosswinds.
Still, the landscape to me is mesmerizing, completely different from home. I’d do it again.
