You should try the graphite technique: it’s basically you’re first step (drawing the calligraphy with a pencil) and then you fill the entire back of the paper with graphite (you can also use a pencil) and then you put in on the canvas and draw all of the lines again. It will transfer your drawing onto the canvas and you don’t have to do the difficult cutting 😉

Find a simple arabic font (e.g. bismillah) on Google images and try copying it. It doesn't matter if you make mistakes I'm sure it will turn out great :)

An easy way to make a stencil without tracing would be to print out the font you want really large on paper. I made my own but you could do that too. Hope that helps :)

At 7:21 , I think you made a simple task very complicated... You don't have to right first on paper and then cut it and a long process , you can simply write directly on canvas with lead pencil .... Save your time!!! You can make 2 in the same time.

Can we just color the stencil instead of tracing it with pencil?
An easy way to make a stencil without tracing would be to print out the font you want really large on paper. I made my own but you could do that too. Hope that helps :)
