Your footwork is absolutely beautiful! Have you got any tips for a beginner like me trying to learn heel and toe?
Thanks mate. All I can say is just keep trying it till it feels natural. I do it on the road in my works van just driving around normally.
Only tip I have is I would say to learn rev matching first without braking. Once you have got this heel and toe will become easier. 👍
ive also been trying to learn heel toe, i always seem to press brake too hard when going for throttle blip

@@ljandrew2012 it's hard to do under light braking. Whilst you are learning it's best to only try it under really heavy braking as that's the best time to use it anyway 👍

New to manuals and plan on driving on soon. Was that a double clutch at the beginning? and why?
It didn't engage into gear so had to press clutch again to get it in 😂. School boy error 👍
I'm learning heel & toe so this vid was pretty useful to watch, some of the comments re: resting foot on the clutch pedal are useful too. It's also clear there's some monumental douche bags that spend their sad lives trolling on UA-cam 😆
Thanks mate. I hope you get to the point with it where it feels natural and you can use it even pulling up to the lights 👌. It will feel awkward at first but persevere with it and it will pay off. And it's so much better for your car too!

Great footwork but stop riding the clutch your wearing it down quicker and it’s harder on the transmission.
See comments below. My foot is there but it's not pressing the clutch. You wouldn't be going anywhere if you were riding the clutch on circuit but thanks anyway mate 👍👍
Your foot doesn't need to be that long on the clutch

Very, very bad. The left foot MUST be placed on the foot-rest, NOT on clutch pedal. You also have to push with your left leg to keep your ass well maintain in seat while not using clutch.
I was thinking about that too but I'm formula cars I don't think there's much room for a dead pedal. He may just be hovering his foot over the clutch pedal
