Last step before pouring the slab, the installation of the cork panels used as peripheral insulation, and the placement of all the steel… 👇
The expanded cork panels serves to the insulation of the slab, but also to provide an expansion joint and they will laso be used as level guides for pouring the slab.
This installation has been the subject of considerable thought to limit thermal bridges given the specificity and complexity of our building and site, it is therefore only adapted to our needs and does not constitute a model.
Rebars and steel placement was carried out according to the installation plans provided with the materials for the concrete floor.
