Our Little Free Garden is a garden project that we do to share fresh grown veggies with our friends and neighbors. Neighbors can harvest what they can use while out walking the neighborhood. Back in the eighties I had a little garage apartment in a wealthy neighborhood, big trees and beautiful yards. There was one house that had a just gorgeous flower meadow on a corner. They had a little sign on the street saying, "Pick some, please!" and a pair of scissors on a hook (with a long string, so the scissors didn't wander off). I'm sure the owner was happy for the neighbors to do a little inadvertent dead-heading for her!
