How is the Cure not in the Rock And Roll hall of fame for this one song alone, not to mention 35 years of amazing music and the enormous influence Robert has had on so many contemporary bands.
I would love to see The Cure in the R&R Hall of Fame because they are the greastest band of all time and deserves all the recognition for their hard work. No other band rocks out concerts for 3+ hours and sounds just like their records.

I've loved this song since it came out in 87 and it still gets me choked up and I get the chills. The subject matter is very difficult to think about when set to such incredibly beautiful music. I never want anyone I love to die, especially not the "one" for me. This song has to exist because it inevitably happens to so many and the loss is beyond tragic into the profound. Also, thanks for the lyric Simon it's one of my favorites!

The beauty of being a Cure fan is besides the hits and fan favorites, there are too many songs to count that appeal to people for different reasons. Much like David Bowie, going back and listening to early albums, one comes away with new respect and love for songs that may have not resonated then. Here’s to rediscovering.
