Good to see you again Dr. Mark! The thing I like most about your channel is you're not afraid to post a variety of content. Pimple popping is awesome, but it's refreshing to see something different!
Wow, it's amazing the gadgets they are coming out. Thank you so much for sharing. Your channel is great. Love procedures but learning different things in medical field is so fascinating. I appreciate you!!!
Update! I grabbed the DUO! I use it all the time! I bought a hard drive case to carry it around between my clinicals or shifts. Since they don’t make cases for it
Hello, Do you find any problems attempting to auscultate lung sounds through clothing? I understand the EKG wont work for obvious reasons but am interested to know if the clothing makes a big difference. I'm debating between the eko core or duo for EMS use.
Auburn Medical Group great which one do you prefer to use? Seems the flat duo one is more portable for that function Also can you play it loud on speaker from your phone so you and the patient can hear it?
Hello Dr. Mark, I was hoping you could clear something up for me. The Eko website states that the "DUO is not compatible with Bluetooth headphones for wireless auscultation"; however, I see you listening with headphones ro assist your student.
It is possible to use Bluetooth headphones by pairing them with a mobile phone capable of pairing with two Bluetooth connections at once. I connect both the Eko Duo and my Apple AirPods to my iPhone 11 to accomplish this.
There is an interesting problem. To hold it down for good sound over the bronchial artery, I often end up pressing my thumb right down on the on-off switch.😵
The stethoscope cannot be used in patients with pacemakers and the company puts that information not very visible. Because of that the taxes that were paid and the shipping were not recognized by the company. Why would someone use a stethoscope that cannot be used in patients with pacemakers, and ICDs... having two stethoscopes is not fun, what are we going to do use one stethoscope in patients with pacemakers and another one in patients without pacemakers.... Eko bad company for now putting that information as a warning. Another thing that I dont understand is how the he.... it got approved by the FDA?
Hey how's it going. I purchased the Littman 3200 stethoscope and a carrying case for approximately $450.00. The Stethoscope works great and it cuts out the ambient noise Again great video. By the way, when are going to have a live chat again. I work in the pain management field of medicine and I loved the session you had two weeks ago. Thanks.

Thanks for asking. I can’t say that I’ve noticed it being any worse through clothing.
This is my one question also! TY for asking!
Can you do "precordial" lead EKGs? V1 to V6?
Can you use it without the tubing? Would like to reduce any material during this pandemic if possible
Yes. I have just started doing exactly that.

one lead per time, but is it possible for example to have a V5 or V6 lead?
No. You can only get limb leads. Remember that the ground for precordial leads can not be substituted by a single point of contact.
@@auburnmedicalgroup thanks!
Can this be used as a form of doing modified chest leads to detect stemi
I don’t recommend trying to use this for anything other than limb leads.
Can you measure the QT interval?
Yes
Is the EKG billable?
Yes, it is, but only as a 1 to 3 lead tracing.
Fascinating!
Hey that’s a pretty cool device wow
I like it.
That's really cool
Any Contraindications?
How’s is this with taking BP

Auburn Medical Group You should be able to twist the module so it doesn’t get in the way. Sounds like an issue with how you set it up.
Awesome ...
Too cool!

Hi
After you have seen this video
Would you mind to make a comparison between L3200 and Eko duo?
