all these vlogs of Europa park, it for looks like the best park anywhere, I just have to get there, I'm pretty sure a place like that will have great facilities for wheelchair users too, definitely on my bucket list 😀😀
Hey there. I just wanted to tell you that I absolutely love your videos. The way you guide us viewers through everything and give us all the background information is really fantastic. Enjoy your trip! Greetings from Germany (luckily living only 30 min away from europapark... :D )
Just returned from a 4 night stay, we only knew about Europa Park from Theme Park Worldwide, so thanks for the introduction . I can see you stayed in a room that normally attracts a €100 per night supplement but it looked smaller than the higher level (5th floor in our case) standard plus room which was only €30 per night extra. This dispensed with the bunk beds and instead for us was just 2 double beds which freed up a lot of space, other features were pretty much the same as yours but with a view as you are on a high level of a building site (soon to be Rulantica) or the Theme Park in the distance, at first I was disappointed that we couldn't see the park but we grew to like the view and hope to get that room again when we return in December. We felt it a little odd that we were told they don't offer irons nor can you bring an iron as they are banned! Anyhow I kept to the rules and had 4 well ironed shirts that cost €3.50 a time. Tre Kroner the more fine dining restaurant was excellent and we were thoroughly looked after by Susie 3 courses and a bottle of wine was less than €200 we also ate well at Bubba Svens, the Plaice and Chips is huge and less than €20. Breakfast you didn't cover and is served at Bubba Svens for most, I think Tre Kronen was serving breakfast for those in suites, Bubba Svens is huge as you showed and whilst there were a lot of people each day it is easy to find a quieter area, you choose where you want to sit and help yourself, this is the only my time you can get an English Breakfast tea, otherwise we had Darjeeling in restaurants and on park. Huge choice to suit all tastes although fried eggs rubbery and black underneath and scrambled nearly as bad as big blue ( the only negative at big blue) the bacon is nice and crispy and there are continental sausages for those that like them. There are 2 shuttle which we found confusing, the dotto train goes via the town so we got to see Rust and the other bus goes to only bell rock and the hotel entrance for Europa Park, it was very busy at times, we would have liked to have seen bikes available from Kronasar to then hand back at park entrance or a clear footpath, we did not see the footpath until too late as it was not marked. Service in restaurants was excellent, English was not as widely understood as we had expected but we always got by. We took 4 trains and the shuttle and a car journey to get home, the trip between Paris stations was unpleasant so keep your wits about you, and the train journeys from Strasbourg to Ringsheim dull but safe. We will fly next time to Basel and arrange transfers direct, it is expensive so if we couldn't afford it we would make do with buses and trains, I would also be happy to stay in Rust to keep costs down. My birthday was recognised in Kronasar with several treats and we loved the games room after dinner each night, bowling and roulette each evening! Happy to answer any guests queries prior to arrival. We will be back to Europa and Kronasar time and time again only the getting there is a pain.
Great tour! Really sold it to me there, especially when the waterpark opens and connects straight to the hotel. Oh and a little request : I know you cant possibly cover everything, but when you show us the restaurants maybe do a very quick menu overview so we can get an impression on what they serve and how expensive it is. Especially when you told that the one restaurant was a litte more casual and the other more upscale it really made me wonder about those things. Can probably look it up online but since you are always so thorough with your guides just wanted to let you know i'd think that would have been a nice addition.
Love watching your vlogs mate, you are leading the way in your field, love the fact you upload everyday no matter where you are in the world, you, Andy (coaster crazy) slothy vlogs have got me into themeparks again, i went to Blackpool pleasure beach last week for the first time in 10 years and finaly went on ICON, WOW what a ride, went on it 9 times throught the day and it just got better and better each time, it still comes a close 2nd to Nemesis tho for me, but what an addition to Blackpool pleasure beach
Amazing I love staying at the Europapark hotels just as much as the park. They really make your stay as good as it gets. The food could be better but enough restaurants to choose from so no real turn off to go there
Awesome. So much theming :O Weird as heck name though. Especially being a "Scandinavian" themed/ Inspired area. Krønasår doesn't make sense. Krøn can be a crest, chronicle and Sår is wound. Amazing looking hotel though. Not a water effect in the roof, its a aurora borealis effect.
I always was thinking that Disney put all their money for theming into the parks and as far as the hotels went, they just added some little theming bits, maybe Wilderness Lodge and the Animal Kingdom Lodges being exceptions. But even there, the theming is pretty much limited to the public areas, not so much the rooms. Here, Mack really shines, going the extra mile of theming even for the rooms. In my opinion, this is only topped by Tokyo Disney Sea (regarding in park theming).
A casual stroll through Europa Park's latest offering, by Europe's newest fashion icon. Loving your color scheme. I'm wondering if Charlotte had any input. And yes, I'm continuing to ignore the hat.
Love the new hotel so much details and the rooms are fab . Thumbs who ever disliked this video why ????? What's not to like . I saw a updated pov from hagrid motorbike adventure it's great
Thanks Shawn for the hotel vlogs; they are the icing on the cake :) Do you know how big the Europa parks entire resort area is? such as Walt Disney World has more than 50 sq miles of land to develop. Until your wonderful vlogs I did not know about Europa park or other wonderful themed park resorts. Now I want to travel Europe by theme parks :)
So how Disney World has different resort areas for the parks and Disney Springs, Europa Park now has two resort areas (Europa Park and Rulantica)? Wonder if they would add another gate in the future then
Very impressive theming on this hotel, I love that they think about even the little details, but I didn't expect less coming from Europa Park, they're the only ones who can compete with Disney in Europe.
That overview from the higher up windows makes me think... Just when is the town of Rust going the be renamed into "Mack Town"? Or maybe "Mackenhausen"? They really do seem to own a lot of land round there and probably employ three times the number of people that actually live in Rust. They probably employ half the district / county :D
You're a bit off there, but not too much actually. Rust has around 3200 residents, whereas Europa Park employs roughly 4100 people. Now, with Rulantica opening soon, that number will go up by another 500 (including Krønasår Hotel staff).
Are you planning to tour the US? I thought I saw somewhere that you were going to visit all Cedar Fair parks? You should visit Valleyfair in Shakopee, Minnesota? It’s a smaller Cedar Fair Park with 8 roller coasters and a GCI Renegade. If you have plans to stop by I go to the park every day maybe meet you ride some rides if you get the fast lane you don’t need all day.
I really wanted to go to Europa Park for my holiday but we could not find any flights that go nearby here. The nearest was to one in France, 2 hours away. What would you feel is the best way to get to Europa Park?
It's vlogception: watching the Europa Park vlog, while rendering the Bellewaerde vlog, knowing you're in the USA now. Whaaaaaaat?!? :D
It really is crazy!
It's honestly SOOOO exciting, so much potential for Europa Park!!! :D
all these vlogs of Europa park, it for looks like the best park anywhere, I just have to get there, I'm pretty sure a place like that will have great facilities for wheelchair users too, definitely on my bucket list 😀😀
It sure is a fantastic park to visit

I like the Tesla behind you at the opening shot (1:43)

Amazing theming at this area I love the industrial feel!
This gives Disney a run for its money... and wins! Wow. Next level theming.

Very nice look look around thank you .
FYI in Germany double beds have 2 single mattresses on them, and 2 single quilts. That's why you only got one single quilt 🙂
Looks stunning. 😁
You recorded that vlog when Smiler celebrated its 6th anniversary.
Hi Shawn. Love your Vlogs. Want to get to Europa Park. What is your favoured route? Where is it best to fly to?
That hotel looks beautiful 😊

Cant wait for ur USA vlogs u must have loads to upload gud vid btw
Bring it on!
Great video
Another great video!
Looks fantastic can't wait to visit one day ☺
Such a beautiful hotel.
Just got my ticket for May. Picked Krønasår because it's the cheapest. Don't mind a 30 minute walk to the park (or a 10 minute shuttle)
It’s a great hotel
it really does look like an old rustic building, i cant believe that a year ago, this building wasnt there!
It does indeed

They're at Cedar Point right now. They have a video showcasing the parts they are visiting and the dates.
Great video tpw
What is rendering, and is there like an app you can get to do it or does it come with your video editor whatever app that is??
It's basically the process of creating a video. Most video editors can do it to some extent.
The hotel looks amazing! What is your favourite section of the hotel? Also, how is America?
I like the back area of the hotel
#RockWork #UniversalRocks
This place looks amazing!
I think at 24:40 it's supposed to be a Aurora Borealis effect...
I really wanted to go to Europa Park for my holiday but we could not find any flights that go nearby here. The nearest was to one in France, 2 hours away. What would you feel is the best way to get to Europa Park?
I recommend flying to Basel and then using transportation
If you come from the US, Stuttgart is the best because they have direct flights to America
Staying here in July. I was hoping it was just walking distance to the theme park, because I’m not doing the water park.
It's easy to reach the park via bus
Theme Park Worldwide OK, thanks.
Kettle in room ??
Not as far as I'm aware
Will there be theme park vlogs from europa park tomorrow?
after holiday park and tripsdrill
The day one vlog is coming tomorrow!
sorry bro I was in another city my help was low but now I will complete that help!
to make U have 200k sub!
Thanks!
Is kronosaur part of the hopping pass
I believe so
It seems really weird to open a water park in Northern Europe in November.
It's mostly indoors ;)
Germany, especially Baden-Württemberg is not Northern Europe
Can a hotel be over themed?? In this case I think it can. I admire them for doing this, but it's over the top
I disagree, I like it because it's not really in-your-face, but nice scenery to look at :)
This is the dumbest comment I have seen lol
Who is going to clean that ginormous statue? :)
When are you going back too Alton Towers? X
Michaela Norman so they are in America until early July so they won’t be there until next month at the earliest
When we're back from the USA
Theme Park Worldwide yesssssss
How many days in Europa park
4 days is about perfect
Who plans the opening of a water-park for November???
They wanted to open it in time for winter as it’s indoors
2nd comment 😂
European theming is so weird? It's very unfriendly. Perhaps I'm just used to Disney theming. And what is up with the creepy water park mascot?
It's certainly very different
The mascot is sooooo cute lol. I don‘t know what part of Snorri you think is creepy??
This video if you play it with 0.5 slow playback shawn sounds drunk
