I'm knitting this pattern ! I'm loving it. I'm using knitting for Olive merino and silk mohair in similar colour to yours.
So nice to see your process start to finish and how you made sure all was as cozy as possible like treating yourself to a market coffee 😊
Lovely Sweater! Thinking of knitting it in DK weight yarn, no fluff yarn, for everyday wear. Thanks for posting your construction video!
The color is stunning TU for sharing ❤❤❤
Such a BEAUTIFUL colour!! Love the combo!
Your sweater is gorgeous!!
Thank you!!
Hi Lauren! Nice to meet you! I'm thinking of making the Monday Sweater for myself using DK weight yarn alone, casual for wearing every day outside. I don't think I'll have too many issues with the knitting skills, it's the sizing that makes me hesitate, but I'll get there!
Your sweater came out fluffy and nicely done! Thank you for posting your construction video!

@@Jerseymimi16 You’re welcome! I actually knit the Monday Sweater Junior earlier this year with 1 strand of DK merino wool and it turned out to be a great fabric! I love merino wool for its ability to regulate temperature so you don’t over heat or get too cold. It sound like it’ll be a great project
Good to know!
Sorry my comment was doubled. The first try seemed to disappear so I wrote it again!
Where did you get your yarn winder & winder wooden umbrella?
Loved watching. I have not knit this pattern but would like to.
@@jerananelms1760 You should!! I’ve been able to wear my sweater a few times and the fit and fabric is perfect for Fall😊
Slay ✨💖
turned out so cute!! would you recommend this sweater for beginners? i've just recently started knitting and i love the fit of it from the pictures but i'm not sure if it would turn out as good haha
@@sydneythach3987 Yes I would 100% recommend it for beginners! The only “non beginner” technique is German Short Rows, but they’re very easy to learn
Merci pour cette jolie vidéo ! Ce modèle me donne envie de le tricoter.
Merci!
Love the yarn color combination you used. I think it's beautiful.
@@liziking306 Thank you!
Where was the finished sweater?
I wasn’t able to get a full shot of me wearing the sweater. But, I have plenty of reels on my Instagram wearing the finish blocked sweater if you were looking to see the final drape of the fabric!
@@LaurenCottonKnits Thank You Lauren, I will look into it. :-) Greetings
Absolutely gorgeous! Why bloking the sweater?
I blocked the sweater to help relax the stitches! When knitting I don’t have perfect tension, so blocking helps to set everything into place😊
@@LaurenCottonKnits ok Thank you very much! Yes makes sense!!!
Hey! I’m starting this sweater soon! She recommended a ton of needles in the pattern what length cords did you find you needed to have?
Yes! I used a few different needles. I used...
3.5 mm DPNs for the collar and sleeve cuffs
4 mm DPNs for the last bit of the sleeve stockinette stitch
4 mm circular needles that were 40 cm long tip to tip for the sleeves and first 1/3 of the yolk
4 mm circular needles that were 72 cm long tip to tip for the rest of the yolk and the body
You might need a medium length 4mm needle for between the 40cm and 72 cm needle, I can't remember if I needed a 3rd circular needles. I hope this helps!
