Welcome back to Film Craze. Lucas Black said goodbye to NCIS: New Orleans in 2019 and he’s not looked back since. The US actor, one of the original cast members of the NCIS spin-off, starred as agent Christopher LaSalle from 2014 until he was killed off in Season 6. The 39-year-old also appeared on NCIS from 2014 to 2017. “I think going into the series I realised that the way it operates, it wasn’t gonna last forever for me,” Black explained.
The star said that his cast mates “respected” his decision to exit the popular CBS series. “I think at first they might have been surprised,” he said. “Because of the way information gets passed along, it can seem kind of sudden. But it wasn’t sudden for me. It’s something that I had been thinking about for a long time. “But most of the cast respected it, and they understood the reasons why because they know the grind of network television,” Black said he still has fond memories of co-stars Mark Harmon and Michael Weatherly. “It was fun working with Mark,” said Black. “I remember the first two episodes that I worked on … [we] were talking about the schedule and how it was gonna be a grind. Mark said, ‘Yeah, you’re gonna learn how to take naps.’ That was so true … I would take a nap during lunch break to stay fresh for the evening work.” While Black is now happily spending more quality time with his family, he is also keeping busy with acting. He is currently starring in Pure Flix’s Legacy Peak, in which his character goes on an adventure to win the hearts of his love interest’s children. Black said it was his wife who convinced him to take on the film. In related news, US actress Pauley Perrette has revealed she suffered a life-threatening stroke. The 53-year-old NCIS alum, who quit the long-running crime show in 2017 after 16 years, opened up about her “traumatic” ordeal in a tweet.“It’s on 9/2. One year ago I had a massive stroke (sic),” Perrette tweeted.“Before that, I lost so many beloved family and friends … Yet still a survivor after this traumatic life I’ve been given so far.” The star added she’s ”so grateful” and “full of faith” that she’s “STILL HERE!”

That sounds like only 50% of it because 5 seconds later he was back with The Fast and The Furious Movies Franchise.
Maybe not a huge roll the way I remember it. Granted my memory is horrible on the situation so he might not have even been in it. I've slept many times since watching it.

the ff movies are a joke, and he went back for a big payday to do less work than he did on ncis, i worked as a stunt coordinator for 12 years, and movies are easier than tv in terms of the drain on you@@DonaldAJr

I mean the first part in a scream because from my perspective it's really important.
THE WORST PART ABOUT THIS VIDEO IS THE PICTURE USED FOR THE EYE CATCHING FACTOR SAYS, "I FUCKING HATED HIM". I WANTED TO HEAR THE READER SPEAK THE WORDS USED TO MAKE PEOPLE WANT TO WATCH THE VIDEO. There's probably dozens of different reasons he left but the show couldn't survive without Scott Bakula and that's why they brought him back. I could be wrong on that but I don't think so. He was moving on and away from the show but things fell back into place for a reason.
I doubt those who made this care about my thoughts and I hope I never see another video they make after this. Please keep it 💯 or disappear from the internet.

I imagine he needed time away to deal with the loss of his very close friend Carl and death of his mothers boyfriend as a child. It was a violent death and he was “just a boy”. Mmmm hmm.

It’s called the movie business. Tv business. It’s sucks. But people still deal with it with kids
He did what scott did and dictated his own schedule for the new show. Scott only agreed a certain number of hours he was working so he could still see his family. After his marriage ending because of his work he got very strict with it all and now hes even more select about what he does. I hated the crossovers or every time mark harmon appeared because he lacks any persona in the NOLA pilot the difference between the 2 actors very obvious scott always made him look stupid. I dont watch any of them airing. I enjoy my NOLA DVDs.
