Considering that it’s a Groovebox instead of a DAW, I don’t see them making changes to the Arranger. The Clips feature is the closest we’ll get to a DAW-like song mode.
YOU WAS THE ONE IN THE BEGINNING WHY I GOT THE MASCHINE YET ALONE UNDERSTAND NATIVE INSTRUMENTS EVEN CONFIGURING MASSIVE AS A TALKBOX SYNTH! THEY DONT UNDERSTAND WHERE YOUVE BEEN AND CAME FROM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GLAD TO SEE YOU STILL KICKING IN THIS GAME FAM
Would be very curious to see a comparison between the MK3 and MPC arrangers. All I know is the Maschine side (which I never had a problem with) so you have piqued my curiosity.
What turned/turns me off, was the fact that Maschine eats processor power, whether VST/instruments are active or not. The arranger is not changed. BTW, the hardware still works. My S8 works fine with Traktor4 and my Maschine MK3 mikro works fine with Maxchine 3.0.
What i did like about maschine was being able to have a one shot sample and put it in keyboard mode and it would pitch up the keys and keep pitch without speeding up the sample as you go up and down the key registers..maybe it can be done on the mpc and im just wrong.i still have maschine mk2 controller but the usb connection went bad so i stopped using it and got the key61 cause i always want a ASR10 keyboard sampler or a mpc and the key61 was the best of both worlds
I'm confused... Isn't the song arranger what people DON'T like with MPC? Not to mention, Maschine 2 alone allowed you to edit scene parts fro one part of a song into a CLIP, so you have the ability to change one tiny part in song arrangement like you could in literally any actual DAW. Maschine gave you this option way before Maschine 3.
Maschine jam made arranging so simple and fast literally tap a few pattern buttons and onto the next scene assign 2nd pattern from each group for instance and on n on.
These arguments don't make sense. Why should Maschine be like Akai? If you like Akai, then go with Akai. If you like the FL then go with that. It's that simple. Why are people trying to force Maschine to be something that it isn't? I just don't get these complaints.
I personally prefer the MPC platform, although some features in the machine are second to none, I will not be upgrading my native instruments hardware by the way KKMK3 will never integrate the maschine experience like the KKmk2.
I stopped using maschine somewhere in 2015. I then switched to fl studio mobile then got fl studio. Then I got mpc when the touch came out. All use now is my sp404mk2 with koala and my iPad. I gave up on maschine a long time ago.
I’m ready for new MPC hardware. I think they stretch the old CPU and RAM as far as it can go. Sure, 2.x works great for what I’m doing. In fact, I’m inclined to keep the old hardware at 2.x because with all the bugs they never fixed, it’s the shortest path for me to complete a song and it 100% works with older projects I push into the cue waiting for additional inspiration. If they come out with newer, faster hardware along with fixing some of bugs 3.x has with mangling old projects, I’ll make the move too.
Here's a video series idea: How to make a beat using foley sounds... but of course use the name of what toy recorded such ad water drops etc. Get a Zoom H4 and record one sound and see if you da make a beat out of it as a challenge. And shoe the Zoom h4 in thumbnail.
Crazy how people take gear or daws so personal if someone changes us of a particular tool like they personally made the daw or groovebox lol ...i remember you using the maschine studio years ago..i always wanted a mpc but i got maschine mk2 cause i couldn't afford the mpc or the mpc ren controller at the time ..anyone that thinks you don't know about maschine is crazy lol
Lol the arranger is more flexible than song mode. It has clips and scenes. I use mpc and maschine. Maschine Workflow is waaaay better in my opinion. But I like both.
You might as well leave then. Cause the new Maschine 3 is super wack. Its just stem seperation, midi split and mute, and more virtual instrums ( via Maschine Central) Its still the same wack ass sampling with no live warping,no sample key detection, and no reason to choose or buy over a MPC. Good By ,Native Instruments.
Yea,im waiting to see is it more simplified, better sampling. I'm done if its still that convoluted horse shit they got now. M+ and Keyboard straight to Guitar Centar for sale.
DT2K I used Both. I LOVE NI because of their expansion and Sounds , and the clip feature is just Sickalicious, IMOP just Killing AkAI. But, the MPC Seq is so Dope! Your channel and your Skillz are just Dope!
Its all a matter of opinion guys. I got the mpc live and retured it before my 30 days was up. I love maschine it's quick and easy for my inspiration to move. Cubase is also nice but my workflow starts off very slow. So use what you like or can afford for some of yall.

I'm trying to figure how much more simple do you want it? Hit scene, then append, then tap in how you want your patterns to play. Please explain!!!
I came here to type this. It's really simple to arrange and there's two ways to do it. This is the quickest way, and it's lightening fast.

You can definitely layer samples in Maschine. I’m not sure about the limit but it’s more than more 4.
Maschine sequencer just needs a makeover
The arrangement is easiest thing in machine
Yah I totally dig it. Works for me, not sure what the issues are people have.
It’s on Thomann now, currently available apparently.

Unrelated...your video made me buy a MicroKorg 2
I hope you used my link 😉

Hello. Do you know how to get mpc expansion packs on the mpc key 61?

it's out in italy .. anderson's selling it in uk
Yeah, it's out scanning my vsts now
The 3.0 looks very underwhelming. Think i may finally be retiring mine and sticking to MPC
Good Observation. The arranger is in need of a makeover. It would have been great if they had changed it.
Maschine jam made arranging so simple and fast literally tap a few pattern buttons and onto the next scene assign 2nd pattern from each group for instance and on n on.
The ARRANGER is my BIGGEST ISSUE also.

the arranger is what made me stop using it
Hey there. Nice room.
@ 7:08...It was the case! 3.0 was the lamest updated in 11 years
I hate the sampling on maschine 2.0. the sampling on maschine 1 was easier. It would tempo match automatically.
The arranger in Maschine has always been GARBAGE!!!! I was forced to buy FL studio just to drag audio into it for arranging. TRASH!!!!
You can drag audio clips around in the arranger for years now
@ you can’t drag automation tho..
GREAT VIDEO, BUT THAT JAR, HANGING OFF THE END OF THE TABLE, IS MESSING WITH MY EMOTIONS. 👀🙏🏽👑🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
