I feel that Loomian Legacy is also delaying the actual game lore because once the whole storyline is finished the game itself will probably be forgotten so the delay actual storyline for events to keep the community alive. But thats just a theory from me.
He need to put 2x gleam & gamma or 2x gleam and roaming i waste 5 boost tokens and 3 hoursto get a Elephage, Duskit and Protogon and a gleam Kabunga, this game is making my cells explode... i still heard the Craytal noise...
I belive LL should do a pause in the events and focus on the story or even some small updates that add stuff slowly, like updating routes. Theres a lot of buildings in atlantian that are just nothing more than decoration, theres a polut corp building yet its not used at all, there are the apartments that could give us some intresting mechanics. Also, for me atleast, LL events don't feel eventful, they add some loomians sure and some roamers, but why not add them in the main game. I might be putting a lot of expectations on a small dev team of a lego game tho.

Which generally is - (limited time reskins which are almost impossible to get without using robux to buy boost tokens to increase your odds by an exponential margin but still can take hundreds of hours out of your life to get even with these boosts) or - (one mini game which generally gets boring after doing it for more than 15 minutes). Sure this content is fun for about an hour but after that it isn't very fun and it gets taken away after the event ends. The developers have also neglected improving and adding fun replayable end game content that is meaningful instead wasting all there time on developing events - (cash grabs), neglected listening to most community feedback, failed to communicate clearly to the player base - (if at all). They will keep running events for as long as they can before they actually have to update the game - (did this by having to split part 1 and 2) so there community sticks around, not to mention the events are very easy to put together for the developers instead of making new fun replayable systems.
The only thing more they could’ve added were route 9 and some replayable minigames (arcade minigames for example). But yeah I understand why you want more for 2 years of work
I wish they made the seaweed concept more centered around the loomians in that area, like i feel like they couldve gotten much crestive with it, ocean is a whole different world that, subnautica also one of my favorite water games. For example a for how tall a grass or seaweed is has specific pokemon types in them, or thermal place where there are water and fire kind if thing going on. Maybe im going nuts about ideas and easy to say compared to delivering it but still wished especially for 2 years. They should realy focus on the game itself and the content for the long run, events are not just one time in decades, i'm not gonna be mad if they didnt have one event in a year, even simple novelty ideas for a event is enough, just focus on the mainline and thats much better
Considering how much effort they put into this/last years Halloween and Christmas event I have a suspicion that we’re gonna get another dry period in terms of story like we did between R8 and the Beach
i really just feel like doing the nevermare maze for like, 4 hours for 6 items isnt good at all, i havent got mimask yet because of my boredom and hype for ToT.
Honestly, Atlanthian P.2 was AMAZING! But as Lucky said; there was not much to do after the update, just do the SB raids and get the obsidian heart trio and thats it. The only reason why Loomian Legacy is being held back by events. Here are some ideas for the LL devs to cut down on events; Make sweet retreat a permanent place in the game so that way things don't get too clattered in with the development of the story, make meteor showers a permanent weather feature, but make it so that it is a really rare chance to appear, make the kyeggo event a permanent feature but make it so that it only appears during the month (just put it into the coding idk), Make celesting a secret roamer in route 9 (or any xmas roamer tbh), but thats just my thoughts.
honestly despite how I feel about the update (I really love it) there's something I found really weird and can't stop thinking about at the end of the story itself, notice how it mentions cheshma town's train station in the dialogue as our likely next target and when was it added? *_the anniversary event_* what would've happened if the update wasn't as delayed as it was? would the train station have been added with the update back then, or was this intentionally made specifically for the anniversary event? like think about it, the trains and everything show signs of specifically things for the anniversary, with the trains themself having 720 on them (the anniversary day) so was this just something that was meant to not happen during the anniversary, or was the delays intended to cause this to happen? also this doesn't mean the delays before after october was intended, I imagine that was something they didn't see coming and wanted to fix (but of course got them flamed and probably made brad snap and send that one message I figured they would say eventually) so honestly I'm still confused about this and makes me wonder what really goes on in the background while we hunt like crazy and we watch lordzilla find his like idk 5 billionth gamma roam until we get confirmation on this I guess we can keep theorizing on that but hey, that's just a theory, a LoomiTheory thanks for reading (jokes aside because of matpat leaving I've honestly begun to look back on that thing I did and honestly I could see me doing stuff like this since I really love this game and I am hella INVESTED)
yeah I remember being confused when they mentioned the train and wondering if they had planned for it all along or what? i assumed it was always intended but they just mashed it along with the anniversary event for convenience pretty sure the delays weren't intended though cause the haunted village/jolly festival maps look slightly rushed (the hills had stretched textures, less stylistically consistent foliage, more usage of roblox terrain) it's kind of hard to tell but i think they're working waaay in advance now (our_hero posted pictures of route 9 all the way back in july 19 of 2023) and the events are just dragging for this single combo event, or at least i hope so i think one of the devs mentioned a while ago that they already have an idea for how the story is supposed to end, it's just a matter of getting there
My honest opinion Atlanthian Part 2 was the best update to come to Loomian Legacy, yet not worth the wait. But I don’t blame them, since Brad had ADHD holding him back from coding and directing, maybe possibly even after the treatment. When it comes to the events, I think that they shouldn’t spend so much effort on something that they’ll take away within a few weeks. and when it comes to the story updates, judging by the leaks, they got a head start with developing Frostveil while developing Atlanthian Part 2, so perhaps that implies that the story update schedule will go more smoothly

Honestly the best idea for Loomian legacy is to only add events that are genuinely eventful for a large audience that provides time for bug story updates. They also should just incorporate events into the game like 2019 or add little places in past areas. For example we could use our bubble helmet to go back to route 2 and so in the lake or swim at route 8 or the beach. They even could make the Christmas event the next route since i think they are doing an ice route next anyway. Make the route, add Christmas decorations and remove it after. Would give better progress and be much more fun
Honestly in my opinion we could just have the Sweet Retreat and Cosmiore event and maybe add an arcade game themed on Thanksgiving or something so then its somewhat permanent
I know my opinion probably doesn’t matter and I am writing a lot but considering the devs made 2 events with a new place (although it was based off an already made place) did that in the time of less than 2 months is impressive so its probably the best move to do going forward
I hope that let’s Loomian Legacy work on the Pvp Rework and the Route 9 and maybe some events would be fine like sweet retreat or maybe should make a new event with new loomians like when they did that drawing contest and that’s how we got Harvsect,Windrix and Oxidrake. I really hope they do another art contest to add more loomians in this game that would be nice and more to catch and collect. I really believe they should add the event roaming's in the main game as a some sort of side quest for more end game content and more lore on the loomians themselves and not just the protagonist story, and also more lore on npc's because of course we've seen a fair share of interesting npc's from the events and the main story line itself, this would prevent spamming events like the rb events because it isnt really an update for anything it was just an event for money and players, this would also form more players since some players like new features, lore crafting, speculating, story, and not just hunting.
you know what would be cool? an event as part of the story. now for them to make such it (theyre never gonna do it) also, addressing whst they can do fix this event problem, they could gradually make the events smaller, but ALSO gradually make their story updates better so much potential in this game, but (no offense to the devs) it is not being utilised properly
I think it could also be an issue of new players not wanting to join or play for a very long time due to the fact that it is so incredibly hard to find good roamers, I also think that due to people not even realizing you can actually get to the jolly festival, I have seen a bunch of brand new players not even realize the events are happening and when I am conversating with my friends in chat they ask what were talking about, also for some reason no one talks to each other in this game, if players ask for help in the chat responses are few and far between
I would hunt more in the Trench but bc of the swimming it kinda sucks. I hope after the event they will consider finally adding auto hunt to the main game.
i totally agree, dont get me wrong the jolly festival event is amazing but they should put the same time and effort on working into the story and completing. Once the story is complete, then go ahead and work on the events
I agree with you it really is a good update, but after 2 years of waiting with about 1/3 to 1/2 of it being cut scenes it just wasn't worth it. No auto hunting also ruined it. Soul burst was also amazing, I liked how you actually had to beat the soul burst before you could use it instead of just being about to buy it at the fourth gym in pbb. But as all good things come people extremely over priced the new roams and any loomian that could soul burst. I have no opinion on the events though, I lagged during the haunted festival event and this one so I will be baised. Still rather have an update on the storyline though.
4:11 bro ran away ain’t no way, I think LL should do more story i think Lando is not doing well.I think without him and some of the other devs all i think is that they have other work. Who know they might add route 9 after 1-2 years or even more, lets just wait. I had a theory before part 2 if LL hits 100k followers on Twitter (Now X) they will release and if you do look they kinda did. I think they were doing route 9 and route 10 during the part 2 update in 2022 and early 2023 now we have no sneek peak but hey what can we say. They should add more codes ngl.
They should add all the event loomians into the wild over time. It would be so easy to do too. The christmas loomians could go in route 9/other snow routes, cosmiore could be a rare weather, sweet retreat could very easily be put in a city or a route leading to it, and they could add some halloween loomians to the graveyard route, or a new dark creepy forest route. Kyeggo idk how you could include it but I'm sure you could find a way to. As for the events, the only ones that should stay are rainbow, halloween, and christmas, with them simply adding some new reskins in the overworld grass. For all the roamers, just set them free into the overworld grass. If they really want to do the smaller holidays like lunar new year, valentine's day ect, they shouldn't cram them into a whole year. Only 1 or 2 should be sprinkled in a year and have the others come next year and so on.
honestly I would like them to chill on events for the time being since I plan to work on personal stuff more once the winter event ends and if they add one more I swear I'm gonna lose it
I think the issue is without events Loomian Legacy might not be able to stay active over time. Its mostly the only thing keeping the game alive. If the community would be willing to wait patiently and still play the game I think they would focus more on the story mode
Imo LL should just add in sweet retreat as a normal 4 teleport tab (trade resort, battle collo, adventure mode, sweet retreat cuz imo sweet retreat dosent feel like an event restricted to a specific time) and make a system where the events cycle though (so like for December we get jolly village, october we get unnhe fair) and they dont gotta add anything new (well maybe they can like a reskin or 2) so that they can have events there while they pump out story updates
honestly back in 2020-2021 I remember saying they should do what pokemon does sometimes and make these events like endgame locations people can go to and get the event roams and stuff just to make the events less of the devs' focus would be cool if they still made that a thing despite it being unlikely they would because traders would get angry
My opinion: stop doing events until a story part is realeased Example: a new route where event loomians of that year could be encountered so you dont need to wait a year to get ONE loomian you didnt catch to finish the loomipedia or mastery Or they could add an xp trainer in the jolly village to help you grind up snowl then going back to use a power fruit or grinding by grass for 10 minutes
i think its because of the high amount of time that was spent on it made it seem like it was gonna be the beethoven of updates, but in reality, it was just a 1-hit artist that just crumbled with fame.

yeah theres just not rlly much to do in atlanthian city and stuff, and for events we dont need a new map, as u said, they could try doing an xmas event in route 9, which would not only solve the event map problem AND give story areas extra content edit: theres also the argument that they may be delaying story updates intentionally just to keep LL relevant, but even then take pokemon for example, the very game its based off of has stuff like new places to go to, more interactions, etc. maybe try incorporating the main story characters into some of the events, who knows? but as u described, they kinda just dug their own grave by making large events like this and hyping up players' expectations for said events
i feel like the only way to slow down events is to re use old events and make the reskins less and no new reskin and slowly down the events. in this way ye people will now not really like the new events but even so people will just get used to it an not will have high expectations for the next events and the devs can focus on story and more story = more player. more player = more money they get. more money = more motivation. more motivation = more updates. more updates = more story. and it will all come full circle
i really did think the new area was very nice. i think my only issue with the encounters down there is when it pans to you, you press a button, and the bubble around your head expands so your loomians can breathe under water. the animation for that extends the time by around a second, but it just gets a bit annoying when you're trying to gleam hunt with boosts active cuz it's an extra second wasted on the timer. now to me i don't really care much for it now, but back then, i just didn't really like it haha. hopefully we can get more story progression in the game rather than all these events coming out first. hell why not update the game with both story progression and an event? would make everything slightly come out quicker and give us more content to play
Me personally i think your speaking facts but also. As a player who has literally quit the game for months at a time to come back anf see nothing has changed really ticks me off. On top of that the fact is theres so many events if you miss them its annoying because some loomians are exclusive which is fine for mabye 1 or 2 loomoans at a time but at this point, a good amount of the loomipedia is just straight up event loomians which is bad since you cant just go capture them in the wild ,you have to trade for them. WHICH TAKES AWAY FROM THE FACT THAT ITS A CREATURE CAPTURE GAME! sorry rant over.
what's even crazier is that loomian legacy has over 2 million favorites and also loomian legacy never reached the max player count pokemon brick bronze ever did which in my opinion is sad
maybe they can add events but somehow connect the events with lore. It may be difficult and ruin the lore if they do it wrong (and I know for sure, they will) but if theres no event or lore one of the two sides will complain about it anyways. Thats the thing. So if they can connect their events with lore and don't mess up maybe they can stay alive a bit longer.

I only play for the adventure/story/exploration part of the game. Which means i get to come back once every year when they finally update the routes, play for one hour and then wait another year. The game disappoints me nowadays
its because some of the time its not actually a problem and he does it for LITERALLY no reason other than to cause problems and any time anyone ever criticizes him about why he is even bringing it up again he gets offended
I agree with all but some of the event stuff. I think they do good with the Halloween and Xmas events ONLY the game had good updates like sepharite when they had only those 2 (and sometimes sr/ cosm events) I think it’s the constant random garbage events like the lunar new year or the Easter or the valentines that take away from the actual story mode

Well after these amazing events, i kinda feel, loomian legacy missing something. Like i don't know what, but somethink is missing. I honestly like the new update. The aranatta trench like a chefs kiss, but...nothing what catch my attention. I mean it's good to hunt in it, and i like the desings. Truly. Me an my ingame friend hunt together in the trech, to found him an acient loomian for his team. And i was happy to found it. But that was just an adventure. What we did for feeling better. But it was something, and it was awesome. This small companion event added a cool spice for it. Now i feel i missing something. Honestly not that what i wanted.
there's also bss where onett takes so long to update the game everyone just expects the updates to come every winter since they've boiled down to beesmas = woohoo update with the most clinically insane stuff possible
I liked Atlanthian Part 2 but waiting 2 years for it wasn't great. I want to play the game but i want to see the story continue. The events were cool but at this point, they're just making me wait longer for updates I actually want. The game lost my interest at this point and unless they can turn it around, I may never come back to play the game.
Simple answer for how to fix the events, stop doing them. Only do Halloween and Chrismas(old areas no new loomians)and make the other events permanent. And if they continue spamming out events then us plays just need to stop playing the game. Make them realise that we’ve had enough. Chances are they’re not even starting to build the next route. If we don’t make them realise that we don’t want events then events are gonna become the story and story is gonna become the events. Every time they release an event that isn’t Halloween or Christmas tell them to focus on the story. If your hyped for an event that isn’t HW or Christmas then don’t say it. Don’t say it and they’ll realise that events aren’t working anymore

let me tell you.. A SUPER EASY FIX.. is to simply make the adventure servers bigger... to make it hold atleast 50-100 people.. The adventure map simply seems too lonely.. This would cause crowding of people.. but ofcourse such things can be easily fixed.. So definitely making the servers bigger in adventure mode would give it a much better vibe!

I have predictions that the next gym and route is gonna be double the amount of time atlanthian 2. But I feel like they focus more of events than story as u explained. Especially imo the icigool sb was kind of disappointing design wise. If they can keep the momentum with part 2 but sooner, more people that are not slowly getting older with more things to do can play.
i want, every event, just 1 reskin (which roams in roria) and 1 soulburst loomian. they could also just recycle the same events without doing anything different maybe but they seem to be trying that and going slow af lmaoo
You know, I remember the game developer saying "if you know so much about developing games, make a better game, I'll wait" (something like that). Look, after 2 years of waiting for update, I agree that they said they would deliver big, but they ended up delivering something just ""fun"". Now they are just delivering events, events and more events thinking that this will please the players.
In my opinion, the least they could do would be some kind of small update to the Aranata Trench, some kind of lost city, a small region or even an indication that we will be able to access route 9 soon. Well, if anyone wants to give their opinion, I'm at your disposal.
playing the game after atlanthian pt1 felt like a chore for me since it was b2b events atlanthian pt2 release should have been delayed(although i would lose it), maybe after the jolly festival stuff since all the hype from that event would transfer to atlanthian pt2.
LL devs should probably lower the amount of stuff in events every time so they can actually work on stuff the main game needs cause playing the game when theres no event is dry as hell but their definitely not gonna pay attention to fans until thier bank acounts start going dry
Honestly I say give them a break and let them do what they can, not saying that out of malice or rage but I’m really enjoying the event and I think they’re doing a good job to make up for the wait. However I will agree that I think there should’ve been some added replayability. Something I vividly remember from brick bronze was that whopping 1/1600 crystal onix that could spawn in the caves. It’d be so cool to have stuff like that, or even if they brought back special Pokémon like Spiritomb or Rotom that, while they weren’t technically legendaries they could still be caught in special methods that required some extra steps for, shiny hunting then would be a little tedious, but the payoff would be so satisfying All in all, I think as of right now we just need to sit tight and ig let them cook lol, they’re making really fun events and while yeah it’s a little sad to see the atlanthian update overshadowed the devs shouldn’t be condemned for making fun content Also, I like to think this special season swap thing was also kind of a sort of apology for the lack of updates, as such, it’s just supposed to be a special one off thing
They should just put out events that are just a little bit smaller and more tame compared to the last one so they can stop people getting more hyped for the events than the story updates. Though that is just my personal opinion.
i mean loomian legacy is forced to do so because it took them so long to to the atlanthian city part 2 and the after the halloween, they are slowly losing players and are trying to gain back those players with big and cool events
I agree that everything was wonderful, but 2 whole years to wait for that I expected more with more depth in graphics or more Loomians because it took LL 4 months to create a heatwave loomian so 2 years could drop 3 more than now since LL dropped some of the models earlier when leaking skampi. I mean I personally think atlanthian city part 1 Was better than part 2 however in part 2 there isn't anything to do except hunt, do a temporary story that u finish an hour and the hunting loonians in my view are too rare to find the good things like gamma dokan. So I agree. They should make stuff more like the UMV and the spin wheel as this makes people less bored.
according to the atlanthian part 2 image it is likely that they will get to an update to the umv soon enough, forgot whether it was before or after pvp rework
Nobody is hunting in normal routes as much as in events. The talk about "if they updated the story they'd get the same amount of money" is not true at all, people spend way more money and more people play the game whenever there's an event, they'd get way less money.
I think loomian legacy should just focus on the story mode. After they finish everything they can work on like other stuff like revamping the battle coliseum and making the raid systems better. Personally if they could work on multiple things id say go ahead and work on the other side things like events, and that. But they cant really do that, i really miss the story updates, i was really excited about them but.... a 2 year delay? Events definitely take up way too much time. Making them smaller would be better since i mean theyre just reusing maps n stuff, yeah go ahead and add a new roaming and at MAX, 2 new reskins. And maybe also getting rid of smaller events, like the easter event. We never had that before?? Why add one
...don't really know if they'll make one for dreggodyne since it's already pretty strong, so strong they're giving it staunch over anomaly (unless they already did that) so I wouldn't see it getting a soul burst tbh cosmiore tho would be interesting especially considering all the forms for it, but who knows if that'll happen

They should realy focus on the game itself and the content for the long run, events are not just one time in decades, i'm not gonna be mad if they didnt have one event in a year, even simple novelty ideas for a event is enough, just focus on the mainline and thats much better

Honestly, Atlanthian P.2 was AMAZING! But as Lucky said; there was not much to do after the update, just do the SB raids and get the obsidian heart trio and thats it. The only reason why Loomian Legacy is being held back by events. Here are some ideas for the LL devs to cut down on events; Make sweet retreat a permanent place in the game so that way things don't get too clattered in with the development of the story, make meteor showers a permanent weather feature, but make it so that it is a really rare chance to appear, make the kyeggo event a permanent feature but make it so that it only appears during the month (just put it into the coding idk), Make celesting a secret roamer in route 9 (or any xmas roamer tbh), but thats just my thoughts.

honestly despite how I feel about the update (I really love it) there's something I found really weird and can't stop thinking about
at the end of the story itself, notice how it mentions cheshma town's train station in the dialogue as our likely next target
and when was it added? *_the anniversary event_*
what would've happened if the update wasn't as delayed as it was? would the train station have been added with the update back then, or was this intentionally made specifically for the anniversary event? like think about it, the trains and everything show signs of specifically things for the anniversary, with the trains themself having 720 on them (the anniversary day)

pretty sure the delays weren't intended though cause the haunted village/jolly festival maps look slightly rushed (the hills had stretched textures, less stylistically consistent foliage, more usage of roblox terrain)
it's kind of hard to tell but i think they're working waaay in advance now (our_hero posted pictures of route 9 all the way back in july 19 of 2023) and the events are just dragging for this single combo event, or at least i hope so
i think one of the devs mentioned a while ago that they already have an idea for how the story is supposed to end, it's just a matter of getting there

Atlanthian Part 2 was the best update to come to Loomian Legacy, yet not worth the wait.
But I don’t blame them, since Brad had ADHD holding him back from coding and directing, maybe possibly even after the treatment.
When it comes to the events, I think that they shouldn’t spend so much effort on something that they’ll take away within a few weeks.
and when it comes to the story updates, judging by the leaks, they got a head start with developing Frostveil while developing Atlanthian Part 2, so perhaps that implies that the story update schedule will go more smoothly

Honestly the best idea for Loomian legacy is to only add events that are genuinely eventful for a large audience that provides time for bug story updates. They also should just incorporate events into the game like 2019 or add little places in past areas. For example we could use our bubble helmet to go back to route 2 and so in the lake or swim at route 8 or the beach. They even could make the Christmas event the next route since i think they are doing an ice route next anyway. Make the route, add Christmas decorations and remove it after. Would give better progress and be much more fun
Honestly in my opinion we could just have the Sweet Retreat and Cosmiore event and maybe add an arcade game themed on Thanksgiving or something so then its somewhat permanent
I know my opinion probably doesn’t matter and I am writing a lot but considering the devs made 2 events with a new place (although it was based off an already made place) did that in the time of less than 2 months is impressive so its probably the best move to do going forward
I hope that let’s Loomian Legacy work on the Pvp Rework and the Route 9 and maybe some events would be fine like sweet retreat or maybe should make a new event with new loomians like when they did that drawing contest and that’s how we got Harvsect,Windrix and Oxidrake. I really hope they do another art contest to add more loomians in this game that would be nice and more to catch and collect. I really believe they should add the event roaming's in the main game as a some sort of side quest for more end game content and more lore on the loomians themselves and not just the protagonist story, and also more lore on npc's because of course we've seen a fair share of interesting npc's from the events and the main story line itself, this would prevent spamming events like the rb events because it isnt really an update for anything it was just an event for money and players, this would also form more players since some players like new features, lore crafting, speculating, story, and not just hunting.

I agree with you it really is a good update, but after 2 years of waiting with about 1/3 to 1/2 of it being cut scenes it just wasn't worth it. No auto hunting also ruined it. Soul burst was also amazing, I liked how you actually had to beat the soul burst before you could use it instead of just being about to buy it at the fourth gym in pbb. But as all good things come people extremely over priced the new roams and any loomian that could soul burst. I have no opinion on the events though, I lagged during the haunted festival event and this one so I will be baised. Still rather have an update on the storyline though.

They should add all the event loomians into the wild over time. It would be so easy to do too. The christmas loomians could go in route 9/other snow routes, cosmiore could be a rare weather, sweet retreat could very easily be put in a city or a route leading to it, and they could add some halloween loomians to the graveyard route, or a new dark creepy forest route. Kyeggo idk how you could include it but I'm sure you could find a way to. As for the events, the only ones that should stay are rainbow, halloween, and christmas, with them simply adding some new reskins in the overworld grass. For all the roamers, just set them free into the overworld grass. If they really want to do the smaller holidays like lunar new year, valentine's day ect, they shouldn't cram them into a whole year. Only 1 or 2 should be sprinkled in a year and have the others come next year and so on.

I think the issue is without events Loomian Legacy might not be able to stay active over time. Its mostly the only thing keeping the game alive. If the community would be willing to wait patiently and still play the game I think they would focus more on the story mode

Imo LL should just add in sweet retreat as a normal 4 teleport tab (trade resort, battle collo, adventure mode, sweet retreat cuz imo sweet retreat dosent feel like an event restricted to a specific time) and make a system where the events cycle though (so like for December we get jolly village, october we get unnhe fair) and they dont gotta add anything new (well maybe they can like a reskin or 2) so that they can have events there while they pump out story updates

yeah theres just not rlly much to do in atlanthian city and stuff, and for events we dont need a new map, as u said, they could try doing an xmas event in route 9, which would not only solve the event map problem AND give story areas extra content
edit: theres also the argument that they may be delaying story updates intentionally just to keep LL relevant, but even then take pokemon for example, the very game its based off of has stuff like new places to go to, more interactions, etc. maybe try incorporating the main story characters into some of the events, who knows? but as u described, they kinda just dug their own grave by making large events like this and hyping up players' expectations for said events
i feel like the only way to slow down events is to re use old events and make the reskins less and no new reskin and slowly down the events. in this way ye people will now not really like the new events but even so people will just get used to it an not will have high expectations for the next events and the devs can focus on story and more story = more player. more player = more money they get. more money = more motivation. more motivation = more updates. more updates = more story. and it will all come full circle

i really did think the new area was very nice. i think my only issue with the encounters down there is when it pans to you, you press a button, and the bubble around your head expands so your loomians can breathe under water. the animation for that extends the time by around a second, but it just gets a bit annoying when you're trying to gleam hunt with boosts active cuz it's an extra second wasted on the timer. now to me i don't really care much for it now, but back then, i just didn't really like it haha. hopefully we can get more story progression in the game rather than all these events coming out first. hell why not update the game with both story progression and an event? would make everything slightly come out quicker and give us more content to play

On top of that the fact is theres so many events if you miss them its annoying because some loomians are exclusive which is fine for mabye 1 or 2 loomoans at a time but at this point, a good amount of the loomipedia is just straight up event loomians which is bad since you cant just go capture them in the wild ,you have to trade for them. maybe they can add events but somehow connect the events with lore. It may be difficult and ruin the lore if they do it wrong (and I know for sure, they will) but if theres no event or lore one of the two sides will complain about it anyways. Thats the thing. I agree with all but some of the event stuff. I think they do good with the Halloween and Xmas events ONLY the game had good updates like sepharite when they had only those 2 (and sometimes sr/ cosm events) I think it’s the constant random garbage events like the lunar new year or the Easter or the valentines that take away from the actual story mode

Well after these amazing events, i kinda feel, loomian legacy missing something. Like i don't know what, but somethink is missing. I honestly like the new update. The aranatta trench like a chefs kiss, but...nothing what catch my attention. I mean it's good to hunt in it, and i like the desings. Truly. Me an my ingame friend hunt together in the trech, to found him an acient loomian for his team. And i was happy to found it. But that was just an adventure. What we did for feeling better. But it was something, and it was awesome. This small companion event added a cool spice for it. Now i feel i missing something. Honestly not that what i wanted.

I liked Atlanthian Part 2 but waiting 2 years for it wasn't great. I want to play the game but i want to see the story continue. Simple answer for how to fix the events, stop doing them. Only do Halloween and Chrismas(old areas no new loomians)and make the other events permanent. And if they continue spamming out events then us plays just need to stop playing the game. Make them realise that we’ve had enough. Chances are they’re not even starting to build the next route. If we don’t make them realise that we don’t want events then events are gonna become the story and story is gonna become the events. Every time they release an event that isn’t Halloween or Christmas tell them to focus on the story. If your hyped for an event that isn’t HW or Christmas then don’t say it. Don’t say it and they’ll realise that events aren’t working anymore

let me tell you.. A SUPER EASY FIX.. is to simply make the adventure servers bigger... to make it hold atleast 50-100 people.. The adventure map simply seems too lonely.. This would cause crowding of people.. but ofcourse such things can be easily fixed.. So definitely making the servers bigger in adventure mode would give it a much better vibe!

I feel that Loomian Legacy is also delaying the actual game lore because once the whole storyline is finished the game itself will probably be forgotten so the delay actual storyline for events to keep the community alive.
But thats just a theory from me.
My point of view, my friend is speaking the truth to be honest. The lack of replay value in most story games will probably cause Loomian Legacy to become inactive after completing the story. Delaying the progression will probably be the best approach, but at the same time, I'm feeling impatient. Share your thoughts in the comments

I dont think the main problem is the events overshadowing the update but rather the amount of content.
I have predictions that the next gym and route is gonna be double the amount of time atlanthian 2. But I feel like they focus more of events than story as u explained. Especially imo the icigool sb was kind of disappointing design wise. If they can keep the momentum with part 2 but sooner, more people that are not slowly getting older with more things to do can play.

Look, after 2 years of waiting for update, I agree that they said they would deliver big, but they ended up delivering something just ""fun"". Honestly I say give them a break and let them do what they can, not saying that out of malice or rage but I’m really enjoying the event and I think they’re doing a good job to make up for the wait.
However I will agree that I think there should’ve been some added replayability. Something I vividly remember from brick bronze was that whopping 1/1600 crystal onix that could spawn in the caves. It’d be so cool to have stuff like that, or even if they brought back special Pokémon like Spiritomb or Rotom that, while they weren’t technically legendaries they could still be caught in special methods that required some extra steps for, shiny hunting then would be a little tedious, but the payoff would be so satisfying
All in all, I think as of right now we just need to sit tight and ig let them cook lol, they’re making really fun events and while yeah it’s a little sad to see the atlanthian update overshadowed the devs shouldn’t be condemned for making fun content
Also, I like to think this special season swap thing was also kind of a sort of apology for the lack of updates, as such, it’s just supposed to be a special one off thing

Nobody is hunting in normal routes as much as in events. The talk about "if they updated the story they'd get the same amount of money" is not true at all, people spend way more money and more people play the game whenever there's an event, they'd get way less money.
