Sad to see how expensive bikes have become :( I bought my premiere 5 for 38k 7 months back. Also the the trek pricing is ridiculous. You could have got the marlin 6 (1x) for less than 60k some months back. Trek guys are just raising prices like crazy.
Yes, Trek bikes are crazy...I thought of buying the X Caliber 8 which was like at 1,03,000 and damn it's a lot more than that now🙁

How to your Polygon Bike performing, is it true what people say about its quality online?
@@shreyanshpunetha2365 It's value for money. It's good but has outdated specifications. It's still a decent purchase in 2022. Regarding the quality - the frame has been pretty good for me. The brakes are OK. Also the tyres have big knobs so the rolling resistance is high. The only issue I had till now is a ticking noise with the crank arm and the pedals which has been fixed. But the stock grips are bad. They keep coming out often so I would suggest you to change the grips and the pedals. The suspension also is fine for the price range tbh. I really like how the bike looks tho. The geometry is also a bit old if you are fine with that. BUT, if you can afford the polygon xtrada series I would suggest you to go for that. It's not that the premiere 5 is dated but the xtrada is totally worth upgrading to.
My polygon premier 5 has it as well but with insurance and accessories it cost me 46000 final price

At 55k, I would suggest y'all to go for the Xtrada 5 coz it's specifications are better than the Trek Marlin 5...

And that's the only bike with modern geometry, i.e relatively slack head angle so better stability. Also tapered headset means you can upgrade the forks later, which is something the Trek Merlin doesn't have
