(HD) Last Hurrah for WNYP M636s

The international heads up went out that the Western New York and Pennsylvania Railroad would be running a storage move from Meadville, PA to the Casino siding in Salamanca, New York. With "new-used" former CSX AC6000CWs showing up on the property, this offered a last opportunity to catch the big six-axle MLW Alcos, operating on some rare mileage.

After 50 years and more than 6 millions miles of service we can’t say they are not a good locomotive !
As mechanic, late 70’ and first 80 ‘ , I worked 4 years to maintain and repair theses beauties !
