Hello Ted my wife and I are flying to Cali and looking to rent bikes abs do this exact same ride maybe down to Dana Point. Is this a much better ride on weekend vs weekday? Any other tips riding in Cali. Avoiding freeways of course
You are probably better riding it on the weekdays of course between the rush hours and during non peak season. Weekends during non peak season is good too. I got my ride in early that day so it wasn't that busy yet.
@@TedsMotoAdventures got it. Renting some bikes in Irvine and heading down PCH and would be in late January. But seems like you don’t need to lane split or ride like a maniac. I have been watching videos of other riders and they are going insane fast or splitting kinda sketchy. Here in the Midwest not used to traffic or splitting lanes.
