Jun, Im glad to see you posting again. YT has changed so much in the last years. So many garbage videos and channels getting obscene view and subscription figures, so many YT changes and new Copyright policies, YT just sucks nowadays. Its AWESOME to see a true YT ICON back!!!
@@supermaxplayerminecraftcla8840 maybe...but he's a really accomplished player and well versed in music theory, so while you're probably correct he has a keen understanding of the scales and how they're used... he speaks quite a bit about the "light and shade" etc. and its evident in all of his playing - song construction, solos and so forth
Hello Jun-san ! Nobody covers Jimmy Page better than you ! :) UA-cam is a better place with you than without you. Consider a return to UA-cam Jun, help keep rock guitar music alive!! Try a new post or two and see what happens ! :) Your friend in America, Bob-san
Love it. Lotsa players neglect to hit that open A string that ends the initial riff and omit the passing open G (that almost sounds like a mistake) at 0:22. This phrasing in this solo (as with all Page’s solos) is what makes it so magical and difficult, and you’ve played it perfectly. Page’s solo is like a Scotty Moore tribute, specifically Moore’s “Hound Dog” solo that has a similar elusive and menacing feel to it.
I can’t ever remember how to play this solo. Too much information to recall. I think players who can remember solos like this are very intelligent people.
Hello Jun. Great playing and tone. Actually unbelievable how you nailed the tone! If I may ask: what amp/equalization/fx are you using? The axe we can see … you gotta love Teles! :) [PS: I’m likely to ask again for some other of your videos…]. Thanks a lot for posting!!
I searched downward to see if it has been asked / answered - didn't see it. What amp are you using? What is your recording set up? Well done, sir. Well done.
Jun626, please answer! In the opening riff of this solo, the riff going like, "Du-dudududududu-dudu", several times, do you use any "Finger rolls" on it, or is it picking all the way?
Good to have you back man!
Yeah good to have you back :D
Wut dufuuuuuk

Well youtube is even worse now
The Loréal Kids Shampoo Bottle I was gonna say Jesus is it bad now
its still bad and getting worse.
Thank you very much for great comments!
Man u are awesome, great taste! Beautifull shirt and guitar, and stunning playing! Thank you for sharing!
01:03 My favourite part.
Awesome cover man.
How the hell does Jimmy think up these amazing solos???
Professor Time Going to the different positions of the pentatonic scale
It's not the pentatonic scale tho he was a pro at mixing the natural major and minor scales
I think he just played whatever sounded good to him, not too caught up in the scales etc
Yep, somewhere East of Heaven that is where they come from - you don't really see solos like his anymore

Playing Pagey in the studio is practically impossible. You are the one who comes closest to us!
The phrasing at 0:26-0:38 is a killer. It just floats around the beat.
And the lick that follows it up transitions perfectly from it
@@TheRiboka yes that’s how you reorient yourself from the all the bending to the next section when playing it
The entire thing is perfect. My favourite guitar solo

The most accurate cover of this solo imo.
Who the hell thumb downed this?!? Freakn' great job man!
killer string bendin' ... or as we used to say , back in the day, "Fukkin' 'A' , man" !!!
Definitely the hardest solo of Jimmy's to replicate. Just ask JPJ, who said the solo was "out of this world genius".
The technics is as always awesome but what about The pedal effects? How can they b so true n exactly tunned? Amazing!!!
Sounding great brother.
I love your shirt! :D
?!?!?!?!!!!!! まさか?! おかえりなさい!! 待ってましたよ〜。本格的な復帰を期待したいとこですけど、1本新作観れたので、それだけでも.... やっぱりJunさん不在のUA-camはオモロないですわ 笑))
I just loooove the lick at 0:38
I just witnessed brilliance. Dayum!
Jun, is there any chance that you can play the nobodys fault but mine solo from the live 1980 show in knebworth?
Great man!! Please continue to do this video!! :)

まさしく世界の人々が待ちわびていた感じです。もちろん私もその一人!
究極です。
Great playing bud! Are you using a wah to get that tone? Compressor? The tone of that solo always sounds so bubbly and hollow, nailed it.
I can’t ever remember how to play this solo. Too much information to recall. I think players who can remember solos like this are very intelligent people.

Such a nasty solo😅 you rock bro!🎉
I'm guessing some kind of Leslie pedal (univibe) a wah wah pedal cocked halfway and tube drive.
I searched downward to see if it has been asked / answered - didn't see it. What amp are you using? What is your recording set up? Well done, sir. Well done.
Your backing track sounds really wobbly? Maybe it's just me. Great solo!
tab for the dudududu first lick?
just how i like it...not a lot of windbaggery...right to the point! show me the shit and shut the hell up! nice!
You play it so calm, very well done!
Well, it's about time we see you again! So glad you're back!
Jun! How do you get that tone? Is it by rolling back on the tone knob or maybe the volume pedal?
Hey Jun we've missed you!! thanks for popping out again man! such a clean playing!!!
Where have you been? Thank you for posting more videos. You are the best.
A Jimmy Page Solo, no one does it like Jimmy!!, except you of course!!
If you want it played right, you need jun626's 'might.'
Bravo
Solid man! Sounds excellent. That's a sexy tele too. MmmMMmmmm...
Watching this video made my day!
Thank you so much for coming back with a video, you play with such accuracy, it's amazing to listen to.
Man I swear Jimmy page is a Wizard he knows how to make amazing solos
The best black dog solo version on the net! I hope to be playing this some time soon!
Jun626, please answer! In the opening riff of this solo, the riff going like, "Du-dudududududu-dudu", several times, do you use any "Finger rolls" on it, or is it picking all the way?
Two slides, one from 2 to 4 on a and then one later from 4 to 6 on g. All the rest is picking
You nailed it dude! What kind of overdrive is that? It sounds like the original.
What would one of your brilliant performances be without your awesome shirts! Keep rocking, Jun!
Please do a lesson
Jun! what's up! Rock On bro!
You are back with another great track! Thats so awesome, I hope I'll get to see more of your splendid work soon!
Jaw dropping

JUN626 soooooo long man!! My youtube guitar hero :)
Are you using any special effects, / pedals/ amps to get that throaty amazing sound
UGP Studios idk what he’s using, but the effect on the solo is a really deep leslie cabinet
It's about time Jun, welcome back ! Happy to see you again!
Brilliant
Very cool! Awesome playing!
excellent
Great stuff!
Can you post the same solo on a Gibson Les Paul? I would like to compare the tone.
You already have a tele and a les paul, why can't you compare them yourself?
Diego Palominos Is your name Jun? I don't think so. I want to hear Jun play the exact same solo on a Les Paul.
Ok
Where i can get tabs or a lesson
Can't get the bit at 0:52 down! Fuck...

Wow love this cover very good !!
Holy shit that was amazing!
vvery nicely done! and nice tele,,,rr
What effect are you using?
いやあ…すげえ…!
Do you think Page recorded the entire solo as one continuous take or maybe pieced it together?
Jimmy Page can record it in one take on the first take if he wants to.
Glad to see your coming back, Jun!:)
Keep it up Jun.... great stuff!
Jim
F*cking awesome!!

@@JUN626HYPER thank you!
Amazing.
Good job!!!
More!!!
Why do the drums sound out of time?
KingOfKings Most of the instruments are in different time signatures it’s really weird I know
@@StinkyBeans-zj8ew No actually its in 4/4.
They keep speeding up and slowing down, it’s a shame cos the guitar is great but the backing track is all over the place
Please tell us how you got this tone
Use a tele on clean
