    Jun, Im glad to see you posting again. YT has changed so much in the last years. So many garbage videos and channels getting obscene view and subscription figures, so many YT changes and new Copyright policies, YT just sucks nowadays.

      Yep, somewhere East of Heaven that is where they come from - you don't really see solos like his anymore

      @vistavette1663 5 років тому +8

      @@supermaxplayerminecraftcla8840 maybe...but he's a really accomplished player and well versed in music theory, so while you're probably correct he has a keen understanding of the scales and how they're used... he speaks quite a bit about the "light and shade" etc. and its evident in all of his playing - song construction, solos and so forth

    Love it. Lotsa players neglect to hit that open A string that ends the initial riff and omit the passing open G (that almost sounds like a mistake) at 0:22. This phrasing in this solo (as with all Page’s solos) is what makes it so magical and difficult, and you’ve played it perfectly. Page’s solo is like a Scotty Moore tribute, specifically Moore’s “Hound Dog” solo that has a similar elusive and menacing feel to it.
