He spent your entire college fund to pay off the party. 😨 Your parents really loved you to do that and I do wonder how are they going to pay for college or regain the money they saved up to do it. Sorry to butt in, but I feel this is just a comical comment. I know how expensive US colleges are and I imagine how much the party ended up costing, but given that both parents work (well-paid jobs, since they wouldn't have that house if they didn't earn a lot of money), that Sunset got promoted and her salary was raised, that they have at least three years until the beginning of college, and that they must have been saving money for years, Felix's worry seems rather a pointless addition to the episode (typical cliché of someone worried after an expense not aimed at their own satisfaction). Last, Sunset also mentioned other big previous parties for Lacienega, so, despite this one being obviously more expensive, it is not as worrying as one could believe.
But why are parents spending so much money on these quinceaneras in the first place where they're rich or not
