Who can explain drilling masonary brickwork. Is drilling here a shear force applied to brickwork ? Or is it tensile ? The way I see it drill rotating - can be interpreted as both ? What is the correct answer ?
I’m starting my second year of structural engineering next year. Am I able to use this, as next year we will learn about designing concrete, timber, etc 😢?
Is this accessible on multiple devices? I have a laptop and I also use a pc and wish to use it on both. Also can you do one that is tailored to AS4100?
Yes, it will be accessible on both your laptop and pc. There has been quite a lot of interest in a steel design resource too so I have added it to the list. Stay tuned :)
@@BEngHielscher is there any graduate course where a civil engineer learn structural engineering and its applications along with construction engineering management and coding? structural engineering+construction management+coding?
I do think it’s wise but I also think it’s important to take a break and recharge between semesters. A bit of light study and reading for your own interest definitely won’t hurt :)
Dear Sir, I'm a student of Civil Engineering in the 7th semester studying at the University of Engineering & Technology Lahore. I can't afford to buy this useful resource. Will you provide me with this resource for free? It will be a great favor. Regards,
This is great!!
Thank you :)
Congratulations Mate 👍👏👷🏼
Thank you!
Thank you so much for uploading wonderful informative video 🫡😘😘
Great!! Looking forward too for the Timber and Steel Design
Thank you!
This is wonderful, and I just requested you one like this.
Thank you!
@@BEngHielscherWhy you didn't like my comments bad 😞😞😞
Will def get one copy for me! Thanks Ben! Really helpful
My pleasure!
If it were based on the ACI 318, I would consider buying it from you. ;)
This is very help full
Thank you :)
Impressive
Thank you!
can you do a video on key residential and small industrial design knowledge standards/design principles/construction methods etc?
Thanks for the suggestion I’ll add it to the list :)

Nice 🙂
Very informative interesting useful video 🫡☺️😘🤗🥹
Great job 👍. I have a quire that your handbook and excel sheet is in FPS or MKS system?
Since their equations and formulas make a difference.
Thank you! All units referenced in both my handbook and excel sheet are using the metric system :)
That’s cool, you should continue with different topics, like statics, geotechnical, etc. 👍✝️
Sure, thanks for the suggestions :)
good job
Thank you :)

Appreciate your efforts mate. Is it available in amazon?
Thanks mate! No I don’t think I’ll put it on Amazon. Right now it’s only available through the link in the description :)

Does your guide cover punching shear theory?
No, only transverse shear :)
bro make a detail video on AI and coding in structural engineering? And is structural engineering should learn python as well?
Thanks for the suggestion I’ll add it to the list :)
My pleasure.

Do you think it's wise to study before the semester actually begins?

Hey ben your videos are very useful to me ,could you please make for steel if you are free Grteful student from India🙂
Hey that’s awesome to hear that my videos are helping you and thanks for the suggestion! :)
What are the chances for remote structural engineer jobs.
They definitely do exist. Just have to find the right company
What a information loved it your explanation proud of you 🙂😘🥹☺️☺️🙂
