Yeah I didn't care for it. I just kept thinking if a person seen how it was made with the guts and all I wonder if they would eat it. Yuck. The rest I loved though.

The eels : they were out of water when they came so already in pain, then I believe they put so much salt on them to get rid of the slime, not necessarily to kill them. They are either stunned or they died along the way. Same when they put salt on bok choy to get rid of insects (like I do it before cooking a caulliflower).

I hate what they did to those eels. Most companies put them to sleep using ice. But putting salt on them looked like torture! How awful!
I believe the salt is to get rid of that slime - they probably die in the process, anyway they were out of water when they came there !

Não é verdade isso. A proteína do ovo está na clara e não na casca e não se perde diante de lavagem.... por isso pode-se cozinhar ovo em água fervente sem perda de proteína ou dos demais benefícios do ovo.

That is real intestines and I believe it's made with real coagulation blood and noodles.

The long strings are called fensi, AKA cellophane noodles. They are made of water and starch. They are then coated in pork blood and other spices. They fill the casings with them and the blood is like a filler.
