Exploring the malls is one of the best things to do in Bangkok - definitely going to check it out next time I'm back!

Went here last week on my first trip to Bangkok. What a great space - really didn't feel overwhelmingly crowded and all the food was incredible. Also had one of the best coffees ever there.
Looks very modern I like all the digital display walls and art 😊 you could be in Tokyo
I deffo get that Tokyo vibe in the food court
Many shops are open till 3am and 24/7 for Gourmet Market.

Very cool mall. I explored on Saturday and used up several minutes of filming just on the first and second floors… never even made it to the cars! Lots of energy in the air. EM Quartier may fall out of being my favorite mall in BKK. Btw, good to meet you Saturday night at the meetup.
The place felt big but not so big that it becomes annoying if that makes sense haha
@@ProjectBangkok Understood. I get turned around in IconSiam and don't know my way out. EM Sphere doesn't feel that way to me.
Same parent company owns them so they win either way 😅 going for the monopoly on the mall scene

How are the prices in that food court? Are they basically on the same level as other food courts, or is it more sit-down prices?
It seems like a very "busy" mall, not so much the people, but it's got that 'siam discovery' vibe. Lots of interesting, sometimes strange, but undeniably interesting things to look at.
It's so neat they have an ikea that connects right to the BTS. I know you said "Ikea is Ikea", but do you know if they have Thai specific items?
And thanks for the video. I won't be able to see it in person until Feb, but I'll check it out for sure.

Nicely put together Rob. Yep, they certainly do Malls differently, yet a Mall is still a Mall no matter how you paint it and is Bangers is now drowning in them? Will I check it out. You can find 8 THB soy ice cream in IKEA café and 10 million THB car in the auto galleria, both are in the same mall, amazing!

Went there today. It was like a musical theatre in a shopping mall.
I couldn't wait to get out. So over hyped, couldn't get a seat to eat anywhere and some live band on who attracted a load of 13 year old girls screaming.
And there was an hour long queue to get in IKEA, IKEA, FFS.

@@ProjectBangkok its not negativity i realise we have to move on, improve, get better. But at what cost. I've been going to Thailand for 20 yrs. love it, don't go anywhere else. the back roads of Thailand are slowly disappearing. its a shame loved the old Thailand.
