I can say it is a small mom and pop shop that is very impressive. I was there three years ago to pickup my 7.3 DIY kit. I got to peak around while they were balancing my assembly. Hats off on the video. We all know the parts come from everywhere but thank you for laying it out on the table.
Great video, not many companies actually tell you where all parts are made. Good job on selling the product through quality, performance and customer service instead of just screaming made and USA
I got a balanced diy drop in from you for my 02 7.3, awesome quality and no more surge when towing below 2000rpm. Now I’m debating a KC38r since I’m putting new injectors in it.
Wish I knew this was on the horizon…I would have waited, and went with this new turbo. Zero doubts about it! But being my luck, I buy a 300X a few months back, just installed it little over a months ago….and directly following, they announce this. Gut punch to say the least. I’d be excited too….if I just didn’t drop 💰 on a 300x Gen2. Damn this makes me feel like I went the wrong route.
I've installed a decent amount of kc turbos on customers pickups. Finally got around to putting a whistler on mine this weekend and it makes that thing fun to drive.
Your transparency and commitment to showcasing the journey of your products, from their origins to assembly, is truly commendable. It's inspiring to see a genuine individual like you, who not only runs a successful business but also remains down to earth throughout the process. Keep up the fantastic work! Your transparency builds trust and sets a remarkable example for others in the industry.
Im being running your turbo for about 4 years now, 7.3l, 63/73 .84, im from Costa Rica, probably only one KC around here, not a single issue with your turbo, i will check the new turbo model for the 7.3l
Really really enjoyed this video. Proud to run a KC whistler on my 17 PSD. Love all the explanations from the beginning to the end. You guys are top notch turbo builder.
Awesome video, appreciated transparency, and an honest assessment of the industry. I will call you for my next turbo. an American Machinist for 28 years
superb presentation and I believe you,,,,it's just that I'm a road course enthusiast with a gas powered car, but I'll check your website and call you for info, just hope that you spend some time with a turbo car!!! I'm Canadian but I like stuffs made or like you, cuisine a nice international turbo.
Hey Charlie, what might the new 7.3 Turbo be called and is there an expected release date? Considering visiting your shop, but I hate driving through Phoenix. Great explanation as to why some things are made in China other than lower labor costs.
Y’all wanna give me trade in discount on my 300X Stage 2 .84?!?! I am totally beating myself up, for buying a 300X, and directly following, you have new and improved turbo….like ffs. Can’t ever keep up. ON A 20+ YEAR OLD PLATFORM. I literally just installed the 300X about a month ago….this is FRUSTRATING af
@@KCTURBOS HEY!!! I had no idea you responded! My UA-cam noti’s get lost constantly. Thank you for responding. Greatly appreciate it. I am not trying to complain here, or be disgruntled. Or acting entitled. I actually love my stage 2 300x. It was well worth it!! Initially, I did want a ball bearing to begin with. I just couldn’t really afford the ones I wanted. I’d just be happy tho, with the new journal variant that I believe is .90 AR. There’s just this part inside us….or me(FOMO) that makes us feel a certain way, when a new and improved product is released directly after buy what you thought was the best option, and spent hours/days researching it. I’m more than likely not going to be able to afford the new ball bearing, or journal bearing variants unfortunately. I will get the order number and contact you guys! If I am remembering correctly, I went through Full Force, because it’s the injectors I went with, and wanted to keep things consolidated as much as possible. Mainly for shipping. I could be entirely wrong tho. The box did have KC all over it. It also had all the social media promo/gift opportunity. I am going to participate in that. I’ve already made a few videos trying to show it off a little 😅
I feel like this video was made because of Kent Barnes 😂
If he could block you on here, he would. ☠️
I was thinking the same shit. Lmao Kent is a clown.
Talk about a mic drop🎤! Proud to be a KC turbo customer!
I swung by when I was in AZ and bought a turbo-Charlie and the whole staff were super cool and answered all my questions. Recommend!
