Thanks for showing how you pack you bag. I was thinking of getting the 650 or 700 model, but given that this fits everything including a chair, hatchet and shovel I'll go with this one :')
If you have a top box, the 6/700 size will also make it hard to find room to sit on the bike, but if not, the bigger bag may be worth it. I have top box and panniers, so have additional space.
@@StephenHughesJelen I have a 2013 CBR500R without any bags or cases and would like to go on a trip. A top case would be nice to fit a helmet on commutes, but I think there is just not enough space.
@@laserlock6491 the 350 will be big enough for a few days, but if you are planning on camping, the 6/700 range will allow room for food and clothing, and can be mounted farther back. A 350 and some soft panniers would be good for the 600R, though.
Great video! Thank you for sharing with us! At this moment I am looking into the SW-motech 350 and 600 drybags. However, my motorcycle does have side panniers (30L and 26L) Which drybag would you prefer for a 15-day motorcycle camping trip? The reason why I ask this is that my tent is the largest object and takes up 16.6L (52cm x 18cm x 15cm). This is without a compression bag. I am planning to buy one as it can make the tent much smaller. However, I still need to add my small sleeping bag, pillow, and cooking set (20cm x 13,5cm - the one from Decathlon for 30 euro). I don't know how much space I will have left in the 350L? Anyway, I would prefer to carry everything as compactly as possible. Do you think the 350 is a smart set?
I think tents usually only compress in thickness, as the poles determine the length, so verify that a compression bag will work with the tent poles. I have side and top case, so can't use a larger bag on the seat, but if you are going to be mostly self sufficient for those 15 days, a 60L (the 600 series bag) may suit your needs better. I would gather all the equipment you have together and see how big the bundle would be. The Drybag 350 holds about the same amount as a typical carry-on luggage for flying, maybe a little bit more, as a comparison.
The tent is a late-90's Sierra Designs Clip Flashlight 2 person tent model. The sleeping bag was from I think Target in the late 90's as well... sorry I can't give you more detail than that...
What a useful video thank you Sir for sharing!
Muy bueno. Entra absolutamente todo lo necesario 👌🏼

I love your videos. Very helpful. May I ask what tent and sleeping bag you are using in the video. They look compact.

hey, what ten you use? looks really compact in that bag.
thanks
It's a late 90's Sierra Designs Clip Flashlight 2
Is this similar to the GIVI 40L Waterproof bag ?
Good question, but I donxt know. I haven't looked at the Givi bag... Sorry.
Does this bag have an air valve?
No, it deals when the top is rolled and folded/ clipped to the sides.
Soaking wet tent may want you to use a different bag for it.
If the tent were soaking wet, I'd probably strap it on top for the day.
