Thank you for your videos. I am looking to devide the catchment (like in the video) in several subcatchment. For example in arcmap we could insert several pourpoints and after that we can create the subcatchments. In qgis there is any possibility to derive the subchatment from the catchment?

You can just calculate the area of the watershed polygon. You can view another video in this channel which calculates the area of the polygon.

Hello.. Thank you for the video.Iit is so useful.I have a questions regarding of delineating the catchtment. Inside the catchment i want to derive several subcatchments. Is it possible? For example in arcmap we can insert several pourpoints and after that we can delineate the subcatchment for those pourpoints. I want to do it in qgis but i cant figure out how to do. I tried to add a shape file With multipoints and adding the pourpoints in the strahler order and use the upslope area but it requires the coordinates for only one point. Also tried to run as a batch process, where i added the coordinates, but is doesnt worked. Please can you help me how to operate? Thank you!

Depends upon the unit you have set. You can check the unit system your QGIS is running. In default, generally we have meters as unit. Hope this works. Thanks

Have you launched Grass also? Do not use the WGS coordinate system. Try with QGIS 3.15.5 and Grass 7.8.5. Feel free to comment if you still face the problem. We are happy to help.

The coordinate system should be projected one. Not WGS

Yes, just change the location of a pourpoint to a smaller watershed or sub-watershed.
No fil and silk in Qgis 3.28

great tutorial. I use QGIS 3.24 and Saga Next Gen 7.8.2 and got the same error like you in 7:07
SAGA Version: 7.8.2 (64 bit)
Error: tool needs graphical user interface [Upslope Area]

The following layers were not correctly generated.
Despite your layers were created. mine werent 😅
Try with QGIS 3.15.5 and Grass 7.8.5

I have encountered same issue and came to conclusion that there is a bug which is not yet solved (something with python plugin and qgis and python version) please use versions 3.16, 3.10 or earlier and it would work like charm

Version of QGIS and Coordinate system of data also effect.
Please use projected UTM coordinate system.
