We're not looking for a confrontation, but a conversation... We understand people's reluctance when they first hear someone tell them that Jesus has already returned in the first century, because like you, all we had ever heard was to expect the return of Jesus to be soon, in our lifetime and anyone who would dare question that, would be dismissed or labeled as a heretic. But when given the chance to hear what the Bible actually says about the return of Jesus, it is crystal clear that Jesus and the Apostles preached that His return would be during that first century generation, this means that with His return, the gathering of the Church, the resurrection of the dead, and the judgment of the wicked also took place in the first century, along with the fulfillment of ALL THINGS that are written, Luke 21:22. This message is too important to keep quiet! In Matthew 10:27, Jesus said, "What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops." That is exactly what we are endeavoring to do! We are telling anyone who is willing to listen! All we can do is faithfully quote the word of God, in context, exactly as it is written. It is the living word of God, and it is written, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11) We all need to be more like the Bereans in Acts 17:11, who received the word with all readiness of mind and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. No other person is accountable for your choices, you will be held to account for your own choices. Are you going to take someone else's interpretation of the scriptures, or are you going to search the matter out for yourself? Jesus said, "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." (John 17:17) That the Spirit of Truth will guide you into all Truth (John 16:13). For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 8:14) Be not deceived, God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (Galatians 6:7) If you are not willing to first listen, and then study to prove for yourself what sayeth the scriptures, you create in yourself the inability to grow. Truth will always bring you to the crossroads of decision, are you willing to follow the Truth? Even if you have to leave the comfort of familiar traditions behind? Are you willing to lay aside man-made doctrines and allow the Word of God to speak freely into your heart and mind? Get your Bible and study along!
