Love you guys. It’s my weekly fix of home ( I live in Australia) . I work full time weekdays and my partner is studying to be a midwife as well as working part time as an assistant in midwifery. Plus we live 1.5 -2 hours travel apart. You have to be intentional to make time and also be understanding. We usually see each other weekends and we talk every day.

Secondly, we also need to take into consideration that we're living in a time where the economy is screwing us all, so people are working longer hours and second jobs to make ends meet. I guess it all depends on the two individuals themselves. If you see a chance to make it work, then it will, remembering that it's a joint effort.
