Thank you very much from Japan. Indian explanation is more easy and understandable. Very difficult to find hydrometer detail test and calculation part in UA-cam.
The hydrometer reading label is from 1000 to 1050 in my case. As per your sheet, it is only 2 digit readings. Should I also take 1040 as 40 in your case?
HI The hydrometer is set for lower meniscus reading, but since the liquid mixture is cloudy, lower meniscus reading is difficult, so the hydrometer is read at the highest adhesion of water to the stem, if the H151 hydrometer is used to correct the meniscus with a solution of pure water and separating substance ( with the same concentration used in the hydrometry test 125 ml 4%) and pour it into a comparative cylinder and the density of the place the gauge inside, because the solution is clear, the upper and lower parts of the meniscus can be read( it is noted that the temperature in both cylinders is the same as the comparative and hydrometric). the difference between the two readings of the meniscus number for each The test is constant .
Great explanation sir. I am a Geotechnical Lab Engineer. This video helps me a lot. Love from India 🇮🇳

Why are you are taking the specific gravity of water at 25 degree only when you have different temperatures in your solution at different readings?
straight forward, easy to follow, and understand. Thank you sir.
Beautiful! Thank you so much @Naqeeb for even sharing the template
Thank you Sir
Very good style of Explanation
Thank you so much. This really helped!
Which book did u prefer?
Hello sir from where you have taken the Ra reading
Good job
can you explain double hydrometer method for dispersive clay
How do you how much is silt vs clay? Great video!
please explain about zero correction = 7 and time correction = 4.85+.25 and viscosity of water 0.00000922
thanks very much, I like the method of teaching here.
thanks alot 😊
what's the standard you follow?
Bs or ASTM?
ASTM Standard
Good job. Please share the theory slides also. Thank You.
good job friend
Please make videos on SBC calculations and Foundation design
Great sir. Would you tell me which code did you follow. ASTM or something else?
ASTM
Good explanation we need also the calibration of hydrometer and excel calculation. Please.....
its given in the end of video
Do you have such a video on all soils laboratory testing??
just visit our channel and fb page
Please give me the reference book regarding this test. Thank you
Excel sheet?
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. How could we contact you?
naqeebnawaz32@gmail.com
or at fb page "geotechwithnaqeeb"
so whom are you while explain using your local language sir?
Thank you so much
from where can we get miniscous correction?
