Swords going down was something I was unfortunately expecting. She plays so hard on both ends of the court and sometimes she needs to slow the pace down. In the play, it appears she rolled her left ankle. With some much needed time off during the christmas holidays, hopefully she will recover for the showdown with USC. But even with this devastating injury, I was sad about it but at least we have enough talent to stay afloat. Swords has hit the freshman wall anyway, while Olson is starting to adjust to the college game. If Swords can recover and adjust to the college game as well as Olson, I think we have a shot at reaching the Sweet 16 this year...maybe deeper.
