Cold saw blades need much slower rpm and coolant. I doubt even high tooth per inch count would work on an abrasive saw. Perhaps a hand held bandsaw would work better for you. There are an also bases for them to mount to a bench. Nice bench vise by the way.
@@TheBeardedJeeper some blades don’t need coolant but it depends on what you’re cutting and rpm is important. I’ve blades with 6 or so tpi shed teeth when cutting something on the thin side. I think that abrasive saw is probably the best all around choice but you might look into hand held bandsaws.Milwaukee makes good ones.
Chop saws are nearly double the rpm of cold saws. The blades are $100 each so I wouldnt risk it. I grabbed 2 used evo saws for $75 so they are out there on a budget if you get lucky anyway
@@TheBeardedJeeper my evo saw runs at 1550 rpms, abrasive saws run at 4000 give or take. That doesnt mean it wont work but I think it might be hard on the blades and make them dull faster. Who knows
Nice shop. You’re building a nice jeep in it.
@@Thexkidd I’m sure giving it the old college try!
HF is small shop gold. I'm waiting to hear back from them but I'm afraid my channel's too small.
@@BlackAndBlueGarage that would be really cool if you were able to work with them

@@alanrawson-wg8io I thought I saw someone do it I may be wrong. No coolant needed for some blades and they cut cold. It is a really nice vice 😉

@@FlawedOffroad I feel like I heard of someone using a blade on theirs and it worked great maybe I am wrong. I’ll have to do some research

@@FlawedOffroad makes sense to me I wish I could remember where I saw it maybe it wasn’t even one of these saws
