That's the funniest ever on that point!! The pounder weighs a pound, can't believe the thickness! Incubate and have a cashe of baby points!! Great job guys , thanks for sharing, good luck, and be safe!!
You guys are a hoot! Love your videos! Just about all my good hunting spots have been taken away so I'm living vicariously through you guys...and I always have a blast. Thanks!
@GBM.... Speaking of Polar Plunge.... You should have seen what happened last weekend.... Nelson fell in over his head in a raging snow storm... Unfortunately, the accident wasn't caught on camera... LOL...
It's good to see you both out of hibernation and in the creeks again. Kudos to Mark for taking one for the team. When I saw the sleeve get wet I cringed and thought "man, that's dedication". There's nothing more miserable than being cold AND wet out there. Congrats to Nelson for pulling the first Turtle effigy I've ever seen made out of Kanawha flint. I'm seriously considering a set of those chest waders, by the way.
I live in Texas now, but I was raised in Mason Co.. We used to hunt arrow and spear points in the hills, but never thought to look for them in the creek beds. Great idea.
Great to see you guys out again! Nice finds. That was quite the turtleback on that one. We've got a foot of snow to melt away before we can get out up here. Thanks for the video!
Glad to see yall out. Hell any point is a good one its history looks like the had starred making that point and didnt finish is all great finds stay warm out there
Hell's to the yeah gentlemen!!! Way to be!! Some awesome stuff!! Glad to see yas out there love it!!! I just love the humor guy's!! Keep after it!! Best of luck to yas next time out!!
Good on ya both for getting out there in the cold. The serrated point made it all worth it. Wow, that fat artifact was the ugliest pull I've ever seen - but made for some laughs and good TV. Good luck this year!
Gotta say you guys have a great sense of humor ! Keep up the good work and hope y'all have many good finds this year ! Been hunting points for about 55 years and still enjoy it as well as watching others finding them as well.
Redman reaction... satisfaction! Glad y’all are on the board for 2019! Even with the stacks and thickness ;) glad to see your on em again! Happy hunting fellers :)
@tubein….. We agree... We are good at mis-identifying points... After some research, we also are leaning toward Kirk Stemmed Bifurcated... But it sure was fun saying it was a McCorkling Device... LOL....
Very nice McCorkle (sp?). I believe that "pregnant" triangle was made that way deliberately .... I have a number of them that are really "stacked". Wish I knew how they were used, but again ... here in PA we find enough of them to think they are made deliberately, and not just an anomaly? Since you are knappers .... do you think they could have thinned those down into a Madison .... I'm thinking not. Take care and stay warm gents.
@MartinSL…. Our point terminology is complicated.... However...: A "Sauger" is a fish... (Sorry for the confusion...) A "Sogger" is West Virginia slang for "Something over-the-top... A good haul... More or better than you expected... (Refers to Quality)" A "Smoker" also refers to quality but it is known obvious quality with no surprises. Thanks for making us think this through....
@@SenecaRelics bifurcate types are easily confused, I have done it myself many times. Awesome find though. I really appreciate you guys sharing your hauls. Happy hunting!

Great to see a video from you guys! Those are some really challenging conditions, you both are truly dedicated! Nice fertility point!
@Pman52.... Conditions were rough... You've gotta love this to get out in the worst of conditions...
Redman reaction... satisfaction! Glad y’all are on the board for 2019! Even with the stacks and thickness ;) glad to see your on em again! Happy hunting fellers :)
Cool first point. I think Kirk Stemmed with an indented base, perhaps transitioning toward bifurcate (McCorkle) tradition.
@tubein….. We agree... We are good at mis-identifying points... After some research, we also are leaning toward Kirk Stemmed Bifurcated... But it sure was fun saying it was a McCorkling Device... LOL....
Good finds and nice choice of cigar. Is that a Gurkha Black Ops Habano I see you puffing @ 3:05?
Hey Mark and Nelson....when that point gives birth let us know if its alittle chief or a pretty squall.....love the humor👍👍👍
@NevinH…. False alarm.... Ultrasound says it's just a tumor.
I love the pregnant piece!!! Hope it produces you a large cache!! Lol
👍
Shout Out Received, Brothers!
Y'all can find yourself a decent priced used GoPro these days. Fcbk market place is the best used place for stuff like that. Good for underwater

@DStraub…. It would be very difficult to thin that point down... Kanawha is tough stuff to work. Probably could be done but not by either of us.
What is the difference between a Sauger and a Smoker?
@MartinSL…. Our point terminology is complicated.... However...:

Nice Kirk stemmed bifurcate
@JO.... We agree with your identification... We often get it wrong.

Pregnant point! Lmao
