This is...By far, the most unique and unusual ranking I have seen yet. Not in a bad way, just the level rankings here are by far some of the most unique ones i have seen, and I've seen a lot of level rankings. (I'm a playtester, I eat this stuff up!) But seriously, Pizzascape and War in the bottom ten is practically unheard of! Oh Shit and Peppibot Factory being in the top ten! Mort farm being higher than War! Pizzascare being higher than Pizzascare! Such an oddly refreshing batch of takes, it's kind of nice to see how people can't agree on the best and worst levels because it means they're all solid in some way. Also, the video is fun! Good stuff! :3
something i like doing is whenever the people making these types of videos use a sound, like for john gutter, how you used the twomp sound from mario, have sounds for each placement that relate to the level, and i always love to guess which level it is, i don't know why, but i just love it
Amazing video! I love seeing people's opinions on Pizza Tower, it's my personal favourite game of all time and something I've noticed is that people's experience with the game and it's levels are always different, you never see two alike PT tier lists lol
This is a solid ranking and I really liked how you explained how the level design and/or soundtrack affects your ranking of each level. It made me reconsider my personal ranking bc there are lots of things you mentioned that i didnt consider, and I do plan on replaying Pizza Tower again so maybe my opinion will change. Great video!
Funnily enough, I enjoyed Golf much more when trying to P-rank it. There’s just something invigorating about continuously ramming into the ball at top speed
16:54 the sonic and tails hour 17:13 the mario hour 17:21 back to that guy 32:55 the sonic hour sequel 33:14 the super sonic hour (ft. Robotnik and the Heavy King) 47:19 the Geometry Dash hour
Aw yes, don't hug me I'm scared is also one of my favorite levels. Also love the video it just generally feels nice the whole way through. Also the random clips you use for the level introduction are just so funny 😂.
Amazing video, the editing, the narrative and the reasons provided for each placement are incredible, easily the best Pizza Tower ranking I've ever seen. Also, both our top 5s contain the exact same levels! (though in a different order)
This is the best ranking method ever and I really like your explanations and points. (EDIT: Watched the whole hour late at night, and I had a good time.)
43:50 Whenever I see that scene of pizza face driving I think that he is working part time so he can't stop working to catch Peppino so when the time is up he ends his shift and starts his other job making Peppino suffer (a detail What I think would improve the level would be that the pizza time timer from the moment you take the taxi, the image of pizza face should change because a few seconds ago you saw that he is not sleeping and that in lap 1 or 2 (yes your time is up) ) the pig taxi driver or gustavo and brick appear driving the taxi running away from pizza face)
War is easily my top favourite one, it's really fun to dash through the level avoiding a lot of danger (very fitting for a war themed level) and infiltrating a base, it's like you're not escaping from pizza face, this time you're going to go get him, which fits because this level is placed right before fighting him, the music is awesome, and i like that it's pretty easy to p rank despite being one of the last levels I do agree the lap 2 is kinda empty and lacking though My least favourite levels have to be pizzascare and gnome forest Pizzascare has a neat concept, though has some annoying parts that makes you feel like it wasn't really your fault if you lost your combo (that room where john pillar is) Gnome forest is alright, i wish the first section was a little longer, i like its music much more than the second one after all, i dont like the part where you're very tight on the time to keep your combo and losing half a second means you lost the combo, also pig city did gustavo and brick gameplay muuuuch better imo
Definitely been seeing a lot of love for WAR in this comments section. It's really nice knowing that the unique structuring of that level agreed with a lot of people even if it wasn't a personal favorite for me.
For me, the most favourite is definitely Oregano Desert. None of the other musics top Oregano Mirage, and its just so good to run with that music. And i think each floor has one theme going on: 1st floor is about showing different parts of a medieval city for example, 2nd is obviously western style, 3rd is relaxing activities, 4th is about unsettling places/situations, and 5th floor is about fear. But personally, i would rank the levels by the floors of the pizza tower (based on gameplay, music, overall difficulty of P-ranking): 1. Pizzascape>John Gutter>Ancient Cheese>Bloodsauce Dungeon 2. Oregano Desert>Wasteyard>Fastfood Saloon>Funtime Farm 3. Crust Cove>Deep Dish-9>Minigolf=Gnome Forest 4. Oh Shít!>Pig City>Peppibot Factory>RRF 5. WAR>Dont Make A Sound>CTOF>Pizzascare.
fun fact: i watched game-play of pizza tower before playing the game but i did so long ago that i forgot almost everything exept the bosses, so it made the game feel more first time
Honestly, this is a really great video! I would argue its one of the better pizza tower ranking videos, i think you go into great detail about a lot of these levels! And unlike a lot of pizza tower ranking videos where they would be too harsh, you (for the most part) would genuinely give fair points and crituques! I feel like my only complaint is that sometimes you do make petty points or may nitpick. (No offense) but other than that, this was an awsome video! Keep it up!
I love all the levels in this game (to be fair I haven’t attempted P-ranking yet), but the Staff Only floor was probably the strongest for me. I mean, Pizzascare wasn’t too much out of the ordinary, but it was cool seeing basically a souped up version of one of the first levels, and I really loved the music. Don’t Make a Sound and War were incredible though, and even the Crumbling Tower of Pizza was awesome
Golf is a level I def grew to love more when I stopped playing golf and started running into Greaseball for the P-rank. You don't really need to even hold him a lot of the time to get a primo burg
War, CToP, and Pizzascape got absolutely disrespected bruh 💀 Still some fair opinions though Idk why but here's my top 19, reply if you want me to elaborate 20 Ancient Cheese 19 Fun Farm 18 Crust Cove 17 Oregano Desert 16 Bloodsauce Dungeon 15 Fastfood Saloon 14 John Gutter 13 Oh Shit! 12 GOLF 11 Pizzascare 10 Wasteyard 9 Pizzascape 8 Lario (Gnome Forest) 7 Peppibot Factory 6 CToP 5 Deep Dish 9 4 Freezerator 3 DMaS 2 WAR 1 The Pig City
@@TripleSakaTrip aha, monologue time Pizzascape was incredible for many reasons. The first level to include a transformation, and it was built into the level beautifully. The first transformation was easy to use, and was very beginner friendly. The knight makes it feel so nice to navigate the level, because of the amount of speed you can get from it, and the invincibility. Pizzascape's difficulty was quite the step up from John Gutter's, showing how difficult the game is really gonna get. And the music. The music. I needn't say more. It's the first level to have the true pizza theming to it, also. Pizzascape is just so memorable :) Crumbling tower of pizza feels so nice to play for the first time. The very first room, with the cracked John sets the tone of this level (being the last escape). That moment when you hit John and realise that It's Pizza Time! isn't playing, the mood is much more heroic than stressful. The music carries the level, and going through each of the tower's levels to save the people you beat the living daylights out of makes it feel like Peppino didn't truly think nothing of he people he beat. That last long sprint near the end it just beautiful, and if you time the music right, it's just no nice. That sax goes crazy. hoo boy
I will make a tier list of pizza gower levels with a twist. I will rank them based on what i think are the best in a speed sense. Incase you want to know oregano desert is top 5 for me absolute minimum because of yhe 1st 10 seconds of the stage.

I feel like I’m the only person on the fucking planet that actually enjoys Ancient Cheese a lot. It was one of the first few levels I managed to P rank in one try
Oh hey, Deep Dish Nine and Don't Make a Sound are my no. 1 and no. 2 favorites too. R.I.P. Golf though, even if I get that many would find the level slow and finicky. I just really like slamming the Greaseball around, getting Primo Burgs, and fighting the demons.
great video! i agree with your take on war lol. I noticed you used jsr music for the background. How do you do this without getting copyright claimed? Or do game soundtracks not get claimed? Asking as someone who is going to start making videos soon.
@@frostyfoods257 thank you! And for game soundtracks, it usually depends on who holds the license to the music. Nintendo usually only copyright strikes music if it’s just a straight rip of the song without anything over it so it’s pretty safe to use their music for videos with speech over them. For Jet Set Radio, it really depends on what song you use. The two I know are safe are Miller Ball Breakers and Sneakman, though I ran into trouble with some others. A good rule of thumb is if there’s content ID on the UA-cam upload of a song, it’s not safe to use. Avoid any Final Fantasy song like your life depends on it. And it never hurts to credit your music in the description! Both the rights holders and your viewers will be grateful. Good luck!
I understand the ranking on the last level, I mainly dont care much for the little exploration because of the context of the level. It's literally a "get the fuck out" level
Oh wait just realized there actually is a 2nd time mushroom does it but I’d say it’s still definitely more of a sausage thing, what with the whole sequence where he slices through dozens of them on the bottom deck while you run away above him.
I understand your dislike of oh shit for being gross, but you gotta remember that this game is inspired by 90s cartoons. A gross out level was pretty much inevitable
For me, Oregano Desert is a B-tier. It never really felt like a desert to me. Out of all the floor two levels, I think Oregano Desert is the weakest because its theming is whack. What does hot chicken do with a desert? Why are there Marts in a desert? Why are there RAIN CLOUDS in the desert?!
I think that’s fair but for the rain clouds, it’s a reference to tribal dancing to change the weather in arid regions. Hence when you take out the tribe cheese, the clouds vanish.
OH. I never noticed when you kill the tribe cheese, the clouds go away. Also, thanks for replying, most youtubers don't reply to their video's comments.
In my opinion, the floor 4 were some of the worst ones. I had fun playing pig city and oh shit was ok, but pepino factory and rrf were really difficult and had some genuinely bad sections.
I like don't make a sound I don't like pizzascare I think golf is mid War is good if you paid me ten thousand pounds to never play pizzascare again i would accept that offer
Cool idea but I’m underqualified for that because I started playing in 2023. And besides I think current would just ultimately win just by virtue of both quantity and quality, Shnick or not lol
i have an oposite oppinion to one of your p ranking levels. *I HATE DONT MAKE A SOUND!* a fnaf refrence in pizza tower is good, but the title makes no sence! "dont make a sound" has you MAKING SOUND THE ENTIRE LEVEL! it should be more centered around steal rather then chase sequences. if i wanted to be chased in pizza tower, i would just use the lap 3 mod. it should have you desperatly making sure you take out every enemy, but quitely. it could even introduce a gimic where peppino becomes a ninja or somthing to take out enemies silently. easy C tier.
No offense, but you are focusing WAY too much on theming and not actual good gameplay. Deep dish 9 has some of the worst gameplay in the game, no offense. Gameplay should always be top priority, then theming, then everything else. The rockets in Deep-Dish 9 are braindead, end of story. They require little to no skill if you are good at the game. The olives are also literally one of the weakest points of the level with their clunkyness and you said they are the BEST gimmick in Pizza Tower when they literally might be the worst. And I am NOT tolerating this disrespect for Pizzascare, Gnome Forest, and War. Yes gnome forest. Even though you put it high anything less than 3 on a tier list is CATASTROPHIC. I don't know if you have done all the P Ranks yet, but based on the kind of first-time-playing mentality you have I'm assuming you havent. And if you have, well, the rankings just dont make sense. Because playing through levels multiple times help you realize an actual levels ranking. I liked levels like Fun Farm, Oh Shit, and Deep-Dish 9 on a first playthrough, but for me now they are still good, but not up there in a tier list. Although, If i were to say one good thing, it would be your placing for TCTOP, i think the crumbling tower is absolutely overrated and did not stand out as a finale.
I am focusing on the gameplay, I just have a different perspective. For me, the perfect level utilizes its theming properly by harmonizing it with perfect gameplay, and DD9 absolutely does that for me. The gimmicks were all hits and fit the theming perfectly. I have done all the p-ranks, but they’re a very minor consideration in my ranking because a bad p-rank experience doesn’t ruin a good level (pre-patch Oh Shoot) and a good p-rank experience doesn’t carry a weaker one (GOLF). In a lot of ways, going for S-rank can be more enjoyable for me because you can just have fun exploring and don’t have to tunnel vision with muscle memory. To each their own though, of course.
@@TripleSakaTrip First off, By "bad" P Rank experience I think you mean hard, which is not bad, it's supposed to be a nice challenge to test your skill and not a laidback cakewalk. Deep Dish 9s mechanics are by definition just lazy and although initially fun do not hit the same after you master them like other gimmicks. I never went for the S Ranks because they never have an actual challenge. Sure they are chill, but the ONLY threat you ever see is not getting enough points, or the timer running out which you usually just have to be bad at the game to perform. I do agree that theme is very important to a level, but in the end, we are not ranking a level off of our personal enjoyment or our first time playing, we are ranking a level off of how good of gameplay we actually think they have. Deep-Dish 9 is, a fun level, but the gameplay and level design never strikes as well thought out. It also does not have a set-in stone palette of gimmicks, as it pretty much is just a hosh-posh of different gimmick that dont flow very well into each other. Of course, it's your opinion, but it feels like sometimes you are confusing personal enjoyment with level rank. My personal enjoyment for Deep-Dish 9 is actually very good, but do I think it's really that good of a level? No.
@@sealifysealify personal enjoyment and level ranking are interchangeable in my tier list. The purpose of a video game is to entertain first and foremost. The levels that entertain me the most will get the highest placements. Freezerator is a level with glaring poor design decisions but is still very enjoyable, hence why it’s still placed high. I merely cite several objectively good design decisions to help convey why these levels entertained me as thoroughly as they did.
@@TripleSakaTrip I agree with Freezerator, adding the pepper pizza i feel like just made it way too easy to make it through Pizza TIme and wasted a real challenge for the last level of floor 2.
Could R.R.F and DMAS be considered mini metriodvania's as weird as this might be. When you think about it they have aspects which metriodvania's are know for. Backtracking to past areas, gaining a abilty which allows you to progress and open up parts of past levels and a bunch of rooms connected together. Pillar John it's self takes aspects of what these ablites do as it get's rid of blocks which allows you to accese new areas and there's oftain backtracking in most levels. Though I haven't played many besides Super Metriod so I might be missing some other key aspects of this genre which I have little experiance with. I do hope theres a new floor and a new level explores the ideas of what this metriodvania element can acomplish. Picture a level that flips upside down when you trigger Pizza Time kinda like Castlevania SOTN. Though I ask you Tripple S would you consider this game a metriodvania or at least part metriodvania.
I think it’s like you said, they definitely have some aspects of Metroidvanias in them. I was actually playing Freezerator earlier today and I noticed how the ceiling of many of the rooms is cleverly designed so that you have to still be paying attention and altering your height when using the satan’s choice powerup, really feels like Metroidvania design to me. But yeah I definitely want to see what kinds of ideas they can pull off with a new floor. Hopefully they revisit the circus idea, I think there’s a lot of great potential there.
The best ranking video I have seen, though I disagree with some points which is fine since were human we disagree. However I mainly want to write about WAR because I disagree with your take and why. This is going to be long but, You claim WAR’s placement is weird but let me explain why I disagree, If WAR was anywhere else it would be a bad level. Easily the worst in the game if that was the case. Think about it for a casual player it would be a odd and extreme difficulty spike if it was placed anywhere. Picture WAR not as the level before Pizza Face it would be a difficulty spike since the difficulty just increases and then drops out of nowhere. By having it be before the final boss it's more justified since it's the final level (Technically CTOP is but you know what I mean). Since what now you can't just fumble around you got to move it goes against the design principle f the game due to the fact that it requires some level of skill to over come without P ranking it. Using the Shoot gun still holds value, Why the Shotgun though? Well I would argue that the Gun in WAR is cool for a different reason then DMAS. I DMAS sure it's Pizza Time and Pizza Time is on a timer but DMAS encourages more use of the gun however you can go gun crazy and be fine. It’s more of a benefit than a hindrance. Maybe don't push it too much but have a blast. Expect for maybe Lap 2 but you don't lose it like WAR. WAR instead has the Gun and sure at first you’ll go on a rampage with the gun but then the timer sinks in you’ll have to not go crazy and run. It focuses more on the side grade aspect of the gun. The grab is gone so you are slower in a level where you don’t have time to mess around on just Lap 1. It slows you down and even the main move while really helps you does stop you for a second something you don’t want in a level like WAR. Part 2 next comment tab.
It’s not about building up PizzaFace, it's a lead up to the final boss, I disagree with it not being a good build up to the main threat or at least the final boss, sure Pizza Face isn't seen anywhere in WAR. So it doesn't build up Pizza Face himself which isn't an issue because you already hate the guy and WAR is the final challenge Peppino having to face one last challenge which will test him before he gets to Pizza Face. Building up to the fight with having to do one last level. Pizza Face can't even be bothered to show up and instead have Peppino go into a death trap not knowing the evil twist he'll get himself into. He's fucking showering during the level and doesn't need to show up. Why should he, he property knows the evil twist that there a fucking nuke. It builds up to the fight because you had enough. Pizza Time, sewers, getting arrested, getting blasted by a pirate and whatever the fuck boss 4 is. NO the moment Pizza Face went too far. This whole level is when you really get back at him for playing unfair (Not saying the level itself is unfair) Peppino and the player, I would argue WAR is when the player truly feels like Peppino, you’ll panic. Think about how every level functions. Explore the level then Pizza Time. No matter how much the rules changed until WAR. WAR says fuck it and chooses to ditch the formula and barley gives you a warning. You'll freak the hell out having to think on your feet. It sounds similar since not only has the grab been taken away but now you'll have to think on your feet and this time you'll truly be challenged. Peppino is a great character and helps reflect the player but that is more prevalent than ever here. I also disagree about the Secrets since it works in favor of the level and acts as a fun twist on standard aspects such as Secrets being more about the time you spend in them. Which I barely see as a downside since the level does something about it which works really well with what it's trying to do. I would rather rush through this level which is about rushing then exploring for secrets and I have other levels where I can do that so I barely see it as a turn off. More subjective territory but still I point I desire to make, The level’s short but that’s no issue since sometimes a short level is more than a longer level and I wouldn’t say it’s too short. Deep Dish 9 is way shorter than most levels and that’s the best level. Even then it takes seven minutes to P rank and four to play casually the perfect amount of a level like it. Secrets subversion, The level does sacrifice finding Secrets which is not an issue in fact it’s a pro to me. Does it sound fun exploring a level like WAR. Not really, so instead of just getting rid of the secrets they choose to do something else with them. They made it more focused on speed, the thing Pizza Tower is known for. Every time you go into a secret you spend valuable time so you have to be more quick in the normal level. This is a genius system which works perfectly with the whole value time aspect with the level and has you keeping up the pace. It make’s you fucking master the level since now you have less time to work with unless you play good. I have other levels to explore so this change of pace is nothing but welcome. Lap 2 Lap 2 is barren sure but that’s what makes it so cool, you see the impact of your rampage and how it affects the environment. This is no man's land and you're the bullet in fact you move faster than one. It’s really fitting for a level themed around WAR and it’s not like it becomes a snooze fest either because the layout escally without enemies just allows for such quick speed no one can slow you down for the most port and you lose your gun which is good I barely have any enemies to take out (Though it does make on section with the respondable tank a little more awkward then it needs to be). It changes up Lap 2 and makes it a different experience from Lap 1 which only one other level did but there it was with an upgrade rather than what is practically a side grade.
Bonus, Why would I want a Pizza Time sequence in the level where an escape is already happening. I don’t need that, it just seems pointless to me. Only adding fluff and kinda watering down the purpose of WAR. The only issue I have with WAR is that at the beginning the level tricks you into thinking you need to shoot the Computers instead of running into them. Which does slow you down at least a little in a level about time management. Conclusion, To conclude, WAR is a near perfect last level because of how it leads up to the final boss with one extreme adrenaline rush of a level which tests players. WAR also goes against the typical Pizza Tower formula while still being like Pizza Tower. I believe WAR deserves to be in the top 5 best levels due to the risk and how it tried something new in fact a really bad idea on paper and succeeded. Maybe it’s not for everyone but it might as well be since so many people consider it the best level. I respect your opinion and if you take issue with my arguments please make a comment responding to this.
@@acidballgamer6990 I respect your opinion and all the great points you brought up about why WAR is a great level. Just like you said, these are all reasons that make WAR a hit with so many people. But for me, it’s just too different in a way I simply do not find very appealing. I do like the level quite a bit, but I don’t love it. The shotgun still feels like an immediate and unnecessary retread to me, and while the hectic and frantic pacing of the level is something that I enjoy, it does nothing to satiate my desire for exploration. That same hectic feeling I get from WAR is something I can get from the escape sequence of many levels in the game. Granted, WAR is the only one to truly go all out with the sense of urgency but it just does not elicit exceptionally strong emotions out of me like the ones you described or the ones I felt on my higher ranked levels. Lap 2 still feels empty to me and the narrative of it being “the aftermath of your warpath” doesn’t do much to ease my boredom while playing through it. I do now agree that Pizzaface appearing in the level wasn’t necessary, but as I said in the video, this was never a major strike against the level for me. In summary, I appreciate WAR as a subversion of the standard Pizza Tower level formula, but it’s this same subversion that removes a key aspect of the game I’m quite fond of (exploration) and conducts this subversion by use of an already explored transformation that (imo) overstayed its welcome. I am very glad this level has its fans though and appreciate your presentation of the level’s strengths.
@@TripleSakaTrip Nothing I can say that will change your mind, so I debated commenting back since nothing I could say out of fear that I would add nothing. However I would still argue however WAR shouldn't be treated as pretty much any other level (Nether should John Gutter but that's not here or there). You can enjoy what you enjoy and that's fine. If a level lacks exploration and no matter what it does and that's a issue fair enough. Even though I disagree. It does get's rid of a lot of elements I think most are praised about Pizza Tower such as exploration, Pizza Time, the low skill floor high skill ceiling mentality. It's really a level which I think would be bad if you judge it by normal level standards for what a good normal pizza tower level should be. It would fail at everything, which is why it's hard to really want stuff a normal Pizza Tower level would provide because it just isn't. I can't judge it for exploration or it's lack of a Pizza Time sequence or how it handles most things other levels would do the same way because I would be judging a fish for it's ability for climbing up a tree. It's still Pizza Tower though however no matter how different and imo should be judged on a different metric. In away making your Job harder, since well can you say a level that's trying to be a really different level be judged the same way as all of these other levels. Though you most likely did judge it off of what you generally want in a level which is a good metric for this list applies to every level excluding WAR (CTOP to some extent however that didn't even bother to make up for it like WAR). It's in this place to where it is a Pizza Tower level but isn't a Pizza Tower level (In the sense that's it's close enough to be considered a PT level and play enough like one but is extremely different).
Though I would still argue that the Shot Gun still works and isn't unnecessary for the reasons I mentioned earlier and the Lap 2 being void of anything with the expectation of Clocks, some tanks and clones is a really good choice since it gives it a totally different vibe and makes the level easier to get though making it easier to rush though and since for the most part it lacks enemies it make's it easier to lose your combo which while it's still easier than Lap 1 can still fuck you up. At the end of the day it's clear it's personal taste on how much you enjoy a Pizza Tower level. If this isn't really for you fine maybe WAR would grow on you like it did me. Maybe it will become D tier I don't know. Though WAR will always interest me because of it's game design and gameplay loop. It's respectable what it's was trying to do as it's 90's in away. Since it's rebelling against the norms which is something associated with the 90's so it's still Pizza Tower. I guess we just have to agree to disagree on this since it's clear it's just personal taste on which level you enjoy and WAR isn't something you enjoy as much. Still the best ranking I seen on this game by a country mile and I am glad you can challenge the common opinions of levels. Glad we agree Don't Make a Sound is a masterpiece though that would be hard for me to sit though since I have a personal attachment to the level as it sold me on Pizza Tower fun fact. There are other takes I disagree with but I tend to get more defensive over final levels since I don't want the end of one of my favorite games being way way way more weaker than the rest of the game. It's more of a me issue. My replies are getting so long to where I have to copy and paste them on a google doc and then paste them in parts on 2 replies sorry if this is hard to read.

Amazing video, the editing, the narrative and the reasons provided for each placement are incredible, easily the best Pizza Tower ranking I've ever seen.
Also, both our top 5s contain the exact same levels! (though in a different order)
I’m very glad you enjoyed it! Also glad to hear we have a similar taste in levels lol
I actually almost entirely agree with your list. Which is nice, because my favorites seem to be uncommon lol
This is the best ranking method ever and I really like your explanations and points.
(EDIT: Watched the whole hour late at night, and I had a good time.)
Thank you, I’m really glad you enjoyed the video!
oh shit makes the game more authentic to the 90's era of cartoons that inspired the games style.
gross out was expected back then.
That’s a good point, but it’s still not really something I’m personally comfortable with.
I like that take on the scene lol
War is easily my top favourite one, it's really fun to dash through the level avoiding a lot of danger (very fitting for a war themed level) and infiltrating a base, it's like you're not escaping from pizza face, this time you're going to go get him, which fits because this level is placed right before fighting him, the music is awesome, and i like that it's pretty easy to p rank despite being one of the last levels
I do agree the lap 2 is kinda empty and lacking though
My least favourite levels have to be pizzascare and gnome forest
Pizzascare has a neat concept, though has some annoying parts that makes you feel like it wasn't really your fault if you lost your combo (that room where john pillar is)
Gnome forest is alright, i wish the first section was a little longer, i like its music much more than the second one after all, i dont like the part where you're very tight on the time to keep your combo and losing half a second means you lost the combo, also pig city did gustavo and brick gameplay muuuuch better imo
Definitely been seeing a lot of love for WAR in this comments section. It's really nice knowing that the unique structuring of that level agreed with a lot of people even if it wasn't a personal favorite for me.
It looks like someone changed the bg music to mushroom hill

Pepperman: Why Must You Hurt Me This Way?

For me, the most favourite is definitely Oregano Desert. None of the other musics top Oregano Mirage, and its just so good to run with that music. And i think each floor has one theme going on: 1st floor is about showing different parts of a medieval city for example, 2nd is obviously western style, 3rd is relaxing activities, 4th is about unsettling places/situations, and 5th floor is about fear. But personally, i would rank the levels by the floors of the pizza tower (based on gameplay, music, overall difficulty of P-ranking):
1. Pizzascape>John Gutter>Ancient Cheese>Bloodsauce Dungeon
2. Oregano Desert>Wasteyard>Fastfood Saloon>Funtime Farm
3. Crust Cove>Deep Dish-9>Minigolf=Gnome Forest
4. Oh Shít!>Pig City>Peppibot Factory>RRF
5. WAR>Dont Make A Sound>CTOF>Pizzascare.
fun fact: i watched game-play of pizza tower before playing the game but i did so long ago that i forgot almost everything exept the bosses, so it made the game feel more first time
8:43 you have 0 minutes to run
47:15 holy shit holy shit
Honestly, this is a really great video! I would argue its one of the better pizza tower ranking videos, i think you go into great detail about a lot of these levels! And unlike a lot of pizza tower ranking videos where they would be too harsh, you (for the most part) would genuinely give fair points and crituques! I feel like my only complaint is that sometimes you do make petty points or may nitpick. (No offense) but other than that, this was an awsome video! Keep it up!
Glad you enjoyed it, and I appreciate the constructive criticism!
@@TripleSakaTrip cant wait to see more of your amazing pizza tower content in the future!
Was NOT expecting donkey kong country peak music

@@TripleSakaTrip on a specific level? or just everything summarised
@@EFG447 whichever ones you want to elaborate on, but I’m particularly interested in what you have to say about Pizzascape and CToP
@@TripleSakaTrip aha, monologue time
Pizzascape was incredible for many reasons. Pizzascape is just so memorable :)
Crumbling tower of pizza feels so nice to play for the first time.

That’s fair, I went back and forth on which between the two I preferred myself lol.
pizzascare is far better than pizzascape if im gonna be honest
Why the anchovies appear in blood sauce dungeon instead of crust cove (which actualy has anchovies in the background)❓

Good luck!

Yea that’s true but it’s more like a one-time thing he does on accident, the outlets is the whole thing with sausage in terms of level design.
Oh wait just realized there actually is a 2nd time mushroom does it but I’d say it’s still definitely more of a sausage thing, what with the whole sequence where he slices through dozens of them on the bottom deck while you run away above him.

@@TripleSakaTrip ok if you dont want theres no problem!
i have an oposite oppinion to one of your p ranking levels.
No offense, but I'd P rank DMAS too
Why do you sound like superbooglet
Your voice reminds me of dupetbooglet
Play mods
This is going to be long but,
You claim WAR’s placement is weird but let me explain why I disagree,
If WAR was anywhere else it would be a bad level.
Using the Shoot gun still holds value,
Why the Shotgun though?
It’s not about building up PizzaFace, it's a lead up to the final boss,
I disagree with it not being a good build up to the main threat or at least the final boss, sure Pizza Face isn't seen anywhere in WAR. This whole level is when you really get back at him for playing unfair (Not saying the level itself is unfair)
Peppino and the player,
I would argue WAR is when the player truly feels like Peppino, you’ll panic.
More subjective territory but still I point I desire to make,
The level’s short but that’s no issue since sometimes a short level is more than a longer level and I wouldn’t say it’s too short. Deep Dish 9 is way shorter than most levels and that’s the best level. Even then it takes seven minutes to P rank and four to play casually the perfect amount of a level like it.
Secrets subversion,
The level does sacrifice finding Secrets which is not an issue in fact it’s a pro to me.
Lap 2
Lap 2 is barren sure but that’s what makes it so cool, you see the impact of your rampage and how it affects the environment.
Bonus,
Why would I want a Pizza Time sequence in the level where an escape is already happening.
Conclusion,
To conclude, WAR is a near perfect last level because of how it leads up to the final boss with one extreme adrenaline rush of a level which tests players.
