It did drive better than the Lexus, but I wouldn't buy one. The Macan is superior in every way..

You may need to put the transmission into s mode on the gearbox for the flappy paddles to work.
Haha, Your probably right. Although I can't believe it makes much difference. 😂
If you hold one of the paddles for 2 seconds you can then use paddles to stop using paddles same just hold paddle for 2 seconds it go into drive full auto
I have the F pace S 380 BHP and, after having the equivalent offerings from Porsche and Merc’s and the like , the Jag is by a long chalk the best I’ve had….the performance is fabulous and it sounds incredible and then there’s the looks ….but luckily I have the Jag warranty because after 25 k miles the supercharger blew .

Reason for lag on the jag you’ve got it in normal mode put it in sport mode it will pin you in seat and take off

Haha, not this one. It's an old Ford, petrol engined. It doesn't run at the moment.

@@CarTrouble No problem, thought it look like a Fergie, I can see more content coming along about restoring it 😉, when my father was a lad, he worked for a company that demonstrated then new to farmers. He said when it was cold the best way to start them was dip an old rag in paraffin, shove it in the air intake and light it with a match, then quickly and carefully pull the lit rag out when the engine caught, now you can't do that with your fancy pants Macan!

I had to laugh when you gave the Porsche Macan a mention; not for me, I actually love Jags, always have and Lexus are lovely cars too but the CVT is a no-no but all things considered it would have to be the Jag in this review. C'mon, be honest...Jag or Lexus if the Macan wasn't an option....???
I like Lexus, and don't like Jaguar, but if I'm honest, if I had a choice to get in either and drive it would be the Jag. That CVT is a nause...

Haha, I agree on both. Macan beats them both in every way. The Lexus is a minger, but it is well put together. The Jaguar is standard Jag, It's ok now but I can imagine it will come apart rapidly over the next few years..
